I really don't want to advocate for more titles, but ... women's tag titles could give a bit more purpose to various people in that division. Bayne & Penelope, TayJay, Triangle of Madness, Willow and Stat? Mercedes and Harley? It could work.

I'm sure TK has said the Women's tag titles have already been made but he didn't want to launch them as they had a few injuries at the time. I think Mina, Jamie and Harley were injured when he said that but they're all back now so I wouldn't be surprised to see a tournament soon.

Tony Khan probably has belts ready for a trios intergender dwarfism division. Dude loves his belts.

Around the time that the Women's Tag Title belts were confirmed is when there was talk of a Father/Son tag title for Christian/Nick Wayne that will never be seen now.

Wasn't going to bother with the Dyno/Collision UK December shows after the horrible crowd experience I had at Forbidden Door. But it's only just dawned on me that it will likely coincide with Continental Classic action, and I fucking love the Continental Classic.

I’m practically certain it wasn’t the original plan, but Brodido should win this tournament. And then they should win the belts. Absolute revelation of a team.

Pssst, Tony. You don’t have to admit you’re reading. Just give me a sign. Like Kenny Omega vs. Hangman Page for the Title at All Out. And a Women’s Blood and Guts.

Tbf, hes been putting forks on his shows for a while now. The clues are there.

Pre-sale tickets for December’s Cardiff Collision and Manchester Dynamite go on-sale the 4th of September.

Call me a cynic, but I suspect WWE might end up touring the UK around the same time.

Nathan Cruz joins AEW as coach/agent

Forgot all about this guy. I couldn't stand him at all as a wrestler. Just awful.

Absolutely ridiculous card, that. Should be a great show. My only concern is whether they can make the 2300 Arena look good on TV. It's a tiny and bland building.

Well hi, Tony!

If we do indeed get Page/Omega at All Out as it looks like we will, holy shit I’m excited for that. I was worried losing Ospreay and, I assume, Swerve, would affect AEW’s hot streak, but I thought that was a great show.

That said, I’m not sure how I feel about the venue at this stage. I found it hard to hear the wrestlers, although maybe that was a sound issue, I don’t know. It did feel like a hot crowd though, and as a result the show felt red hot.

I’m really enjoying the E&C reunion. It’s the best thing Copeland has done since returning to wrestling and they have great chemistry in their promo segments in spite of the evolution of Christian’s character. I can’t wait to see them take on FTR, and I hope it’s the Young Bucks after that.

MJF cut his best promo in years there. When he moves away from the smug edgelord character, you’re reminded what he has to offer and I hope this marks an evolution for his character. I’d previously been hoping for a Pinnacle reunion, but we’ve seen what retreading an old path has done for the guy already with him feeling staler than ever, so perhaps something totally new is what he needs.

Meghan Bayne is so impressive. She feels title-ready. Willow continues to annoy me, and I’m actually wondering now if that’s by design and we’re set for a heel turn? A heel Willow vs Toni Storm for the world title would certainly intrigue me. Statlander feels red hot at the moment, and while I think there’s a good chance it’s building to her at least challenging for new women’s tag titles alongside Harley (creating resentment in Willow) I’d love to see her go after Mercedes.

I can’t decide whether I love or hate Hook’s new theme. It’s an interesting choice.

The fact everyone was talking about Ospreay and no one mentioned Swerve stood out to me, and felt pretty deliberate. I’m wondering if it’s fuel for him to return as a heel - or if it simply means he won’t be out for very long, if at all.

A Yuta/Garcia tag team is certainly something I could get on board with, and I’m going to say this now - I really like the Death Riders, and I’m glad they didn’t split after Moxley lost the title. What they’re doing right now is fun.

So yeah, another hot show, with the added bonus of Jake Hager’s attempt to sabotage the company actually making you feel good about watching it. Glad to hear you’re too woke for him, Tony!

That main event, good lord. The closest thing to a modern day Mike Awesome vs Spike Dudley. Absolutely loved it. Nothing quite like a big mental Darby Allin match.
