It's a shame he wasn't given more in that role. Where is PAC these days? Seems to have gone off the radar a lot unless hes injured? Perhaps he returns at All In as a surprise and helps Hangman somehow? I dunno. I like AR Fox in a kind of 'hes ok, not great but hes all right and can do a bit' but he'll never be anything more than that IMO Quote

Yea he suffered an injury in a match against Swerve a few months back and they had to go to the finish after only a couple of minutes but not sure how long he’s due to be out. Quote

Paid Members JLM Posted July 8, 2025 Paid Members Posted July 8, 2025 (edited) I’m only up to early May but the whole Caster/Bowens split is just dripping with irony. Bowens out there drowning in nickname soup, angrily scowling and bellowing away his likability a week at a time, half heartedly still scissoring as Billy Gunn is still sort of there for some reason. Desperate to let that bit of the gimmick go but scared it’s the only thing that’s over. Decked out in horrible entrance gear that hides his very impressive physique like he’s been Vinnie Mac sabotaged. Caster on the other hand corpsing on the mic every week because the crowd is desperately trying to follow his intentionally god awful chant, throwing out low hanging fruit heel 101 tactics to try and slow down the mega-babyface trajectory he’s on. My solution: a simple chant! “Let’s go Anthony Bowens you’re the pride of professional wrestling and also all elite wrestling’s five tool player!” Sing it with me people. Paid Members RedTwoster Posted July 10, 2025 Paid Members Posted July 10, 2025 The whole point of a go-home show is to leave you counting down the seconds until the show it’s hyping, and for me at least, mission accomplished. That was brilliant. I remember absolutely buzzing before Wrestlemania 40, and if anything I feel more excited about All In; and I’m glad, AEW is succeeding in turning it into their Wrestlemania - and it very much has that ‘end of season’ feel to it. At 40, the Bloodline finally died. At All In, the Death Riders will. But 40 very much became Avengers Endgame for WWE. They struggled to build that next big storyline, after doing some good stuff with McIntyre/Punk and Solo/Reigns, things kinda fizzled out (unnecessarily I’d suggest, but that’s for another thread) One thing I really like about All In is that, as much as it brings one set of storylines to an end, it’s setting up what comes next. The Bucks will either become ‘regular wrestlers’; or Ospreay and Swerve will be banned from challenging for the World Title for a year. And I’d suggest that the second option is the correct one - building up anticipation and hunger for Ospreay to win the big one in London in 2026; his inability to challenge sooner making the moment matter even more. Then you have the Casino Gauntlets - potentially setting up Hangman/MJF, or even someone like Ricochet as a World title contender. I like the sound of either Ricochet/Ospreay or MJF/Ospreay as your 2026 All In main event. And what’s next for Toni Storm after the Mone match? Mercedes sucks on the mic, but that opening segment was very watchable regardless. Mercedes should win the belt, and their eventual rematch should main event a PPV, regardless of who wins. MJF/Briscoe was decent, if predictable - and I thought MJF’s insults were pretty weak. When MJF spoke positively about Jay Briscoe, rather than saying ‘you should have died in that accident’ the more powerful approach would have been to say that Jay will go down as a legend, but Mark will go down as the man who stood in his shadow - or something like that; poking at Mark Briscoe’s confidence rather than riling him up. MJF’s become predictable in that often, all he can offer is a ‘shocking comment’ - but it’s no longer shocking because he does it so often. I’m really looking forward to the tag match. The Hurt Syndicate has been a great addition to AEW; MVP in particular who is the best manager in wrestling right now. I could rave about the rest of the show and I really want to, but I’m in danger of making this the longest post I’ve ever written. So instead I’ll finish up by saying I really can’t wait until All In. As the kids would say, let’s fucking go! Quote

If in a year Gabe Kidd has taken over the Death Riders and keeps bringing in an ever increasing list of skinheads, I know who's house I'm burning down. Quote
Chili Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 I cannot be fucked with Mercedes Mone winning the title. It just does nothing for me. You've won every belt, great. Now you've got to lose every belt. Hopefully they don't vacate the TBS belt as it just makes everyone going for it look like a loser, plus it's not in Mone's character as a complete egomaniac to do so. Still think the better story is her losing the match and her supreme confidence before finding a way back somehow. If she's capable of even pulling that character off mind. Quote
Guest Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 I guess we see how to get Copeland/Christian back together now. FTR help Patriarchy win the titles, Christian welches their deal, FTR take out Nick Wayne in response and Christian gets Cope back to fight them (giving a reason for them to team up again, too). Quote
The King of Old School Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 I'm surprised they have resisted the urge to not put FTR in the title match and make it a 4 way. Shame they have nothing to do on the biggest show of the year with how good they have been recently. Quote
Mr Butternut Squash Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 As great as Adam Page has been, he's only my second favourite babyface in the world. Mark Briscoe might snatch my wrestler of 2025. Love him. Quote

She’s brilliant, but given that it was a passionate response to MJF bringing up his brother, it didn’t fit the tone for me and made it look as if he’s not to be taken seriously. Quote
King Mal the Glorious Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 See I have the opposite reaction. Briscoe is hilarious and he's done similar promos with Renee before, so it's only natural she'd get a kick out of it. It's way better than her standing there with Serious Interviewer Face. Quote
