See I have the opposite reaction. Briscoe is hilarious and he's done similar promos with Renee before, so it's only natural she'd get a kick out of it. It's way better than her standing there with Serious Interviewer Face.

I don’t mind it in general, but given the subject matter it seemed a bit off. Minor quibble though, as she’s pretty much always excellent and has been one hell of a signing for them.

I’m going to say this again in the off chance it helps will it into reality - Tony Khan: please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE bring back Hangman’s old theme song on Saturday. Please.

I expected in a way the big summit to happen in ring, but it was actually much more effective and logical to have them in a room (with an acknowledged cameraman) to have their big talk. These two brilliant bastards. Bring on Saturday, literally the only wrestling worth a jot this weekend.

The juxtaposition of the Mox promo immediately following that was perfectly done. Hangman and Swerve, two violent psychos trying to grow, forgive and move on then cut to Mox another violent psycho who has no interest in changing, wants to be even more evil and violent and is totally toxic. Brilliant stuff.

I'm surprised they have resisted the urge to not put FTR in the title match and make it a 4 way.

Shame they have nothing to do on the biggest show of the year with how good they have been recently.

Until a couple of weeks ago,  I thought they were headed towards doing some sort of massive get everyone on the card ladder match thing with the tag teams - lots of stories began to intersect, "new" teams forming like Protoshita & Cage/Wayne suddenly taking interest in the tag belts.

Hurts vs JetSpeed vs Patriarchy vs FTR vs Outrunners vs Protoshita vs Cru vs RPG Vice vs Learning Tree vs Strong/O'Reilly kind of thing.

Dynamite was a great show. It's crazy how it's now so predictable that Dynamite will be a fast paced, exciting show filled with great matches, action and top stars. Let's not take it for granted!

My only criticism would be why did they give Blake Christian, who has been a heel jobber for months and looks about 14, so much babyface shine and TV time? Surely they could have found someone more deserving? Felt like the perfect spot for someone like John Silver.

Yuta/Joe was perfectly done. Joe smashing him to bits at every opportunity he had while Yuta wrestled like a vile little goblin man. I like Yuta, just wish he would sort out that physique a bit.

I also like how Thekla and Aminata have through sheer force of will created a hot midcard feud based only on just being incredibly violent to eachother whenever they can. Not everything needs to be a big story, sometimes you just need two people who want to fuck eachother up.

I've heard a few people (in other places) moan about Hangman, going "where's the ass-kicking cowboy? Why is he so whiny?", and it felt like Moxley's promo was letting them know "you're the baddies." It was great.

It's an absolute shame that it took so long to get the stench of the early to middle Death Riders angle off, because if they'd always been like they are currently, I wouldn't have completely hated it. I've enjoyed seeing Mox (who looks incredible physically at the moment) slowly becoming obviously rattled by the wagons circling. Such a shame there was all that fannying about with fatal four way matches and bleach for a bit.

Speaking of, what's become of our boy Orange Cassidy. Has he hit the injured list for a while or is he just still working as an agent for a bit.

It's a funny one because I'm not even sure the Deathriders angle would work as well as it is right now if those first few months weren't so miserable and shit. The babyfaces rising up and fighting back feels genuinely cathartic in a way it probably wouldn't if the story was badass from the start.

I think what I meant was I'd have preferred to see the less DUMB shit removed. The bleach and the quite silly little things like that. I think the product itself on the whole was in a funny funk at that point though so it's not surprising we got a bit GET TO THE FUCKING FIREWORKS FACTORY about it at the time.

First Roman Reigns and now Dean Ambrose, both running splinter factions that hit their stride in the final stretch due to generational babyfaces, making you forget that the first 75% of their run was absolute horseshit.

Maybe there’s hope for Seth Rollins and Bron & Bron Security after all.

(There isn’t).
