Paid Members Kamran Posted October 14, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 14, 2024 After seeing the below and the recent news about TKO saying WWE are not charging enough for tickets, what's the most you've ever paid for a ticket? Even though I've watched WWE for decades, I've never attended a show but I did go to the previous 2 AEW All In shows, I paid approx £114 per person (both years) and I couldn't imagine wanting to spend much more than that. Maybe I'm just tight Quote > $35,000 PER PERSON WRESTLEMANIA PACKAGES SOLD BY ONLOCATION - OnLocation has started selling WrestleMania 41 VIP packages for those who registered for the early sale and they include the most expensive package ever for a WWE event. Titled Elite+, the package comes at a whopping $35,000 per person, and includes row two and three on the camera side for WrestleMania, stage walkout experience, ringside photo op, two-day pre-show hospitality with appearance by John Cena, commemorative chair shipped to your location, three-day WWE World ticket with priority pass, exclusive WrestleMania merchandise, and a dedicated VIP entrance. There are five other packages being offered, all having less perks depending on price range. The Championship package is $15,500 per person and there's an Undertaker Suite by the Seat package for $9,000 per person. A Suite by the Seat package is $6,500, a Gold package is $6,250 per person, and the cheapest Silver package is $4,000 per person. WrestleMania tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 25. [Source: Wrestling-Online Newsletter] I get there are extra perks but those $35K tickets aren't even front row 😬 Quote
DavidB6937 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 To be fair they've always had mental VIP packages. Obviously prices are super up across the board - they're in demand, so no surprise - but the VIP packages have always seemed pretty ridiculous. Quote
Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted October 14, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 14, 2024 £240 for All In but we were in the section behind the front section of Ringside and had a great view. As I don't do things like this often, I was happy to spend the money. I paid around £180 for All In 2023 for a similar seat. Quote
The Dart Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 (edited) Paid £370 for Backlash France ticket. That is about the limit I would pay for any show - and even then that's a rare special occasion. I think I paid about £350 for MITB London, but had a much better seat than at Backlash. The most I've ever paid for a Wrestlemania ticket was about £220 for Mania 38, but they were "really good seats for the price". Even tickets for the London house show are ridiculous now. The cheapest tickets are £42 I think, they were £25 a couple of years ago. Edited October 14, 2024 by The Dart Quote
westlondonmist Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I think the most is about £50 for a TNA show, the £30 seats i had the year before we're better. I was going to pay £90 for a seat at All In (you could get decent seats cheaper a couple of weeks prior) but we decided to take a weekend away as a family. If you can afford 35k for a ticket then fuck it why not. It's for people where money is no object. I think I'm more annoyed by the cheapest seats being hundreds of pounds. Quote
TibBo Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Imagine paying the equivalent of a deposit on a house or your kids university fees to watch that jimmy vs jey uso match and freeze your tits off. Quote
Paid Members JLM Posted October 14, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 14, 2024 £300 for All In this year. The Casino Gauntlet and that last hour made it easily the best live wrestling experience I've ever had, and probably in my top 5 live entertainment events overall. I got so flipping emotional for that Danielson match. Would happily pay it again. Quote

I paid £80 something for mine but could hardly see as the screen had a light below it. Our section was chanting we can't see turn the light of. How did you get the ticket for that price those seats were about £400 when I looked. Quote

Waited until the Friday and we just found them on Ticketmaster, not even resale. We even made it to TV! Quote
simonworden Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Been a while but from recollection the most paid was either Raw in London in 2012 where we sat top of the lower tier in the middle facing the hard cam. Great seats but the cheaper ones for Smackdown the night after were better as we were closer, just couldn't see the screen. The other was TNAs house show in Bournemouth in 2010 where we were 3rd row and probably the best seats I've ever had for a major promotion. Both were £45 to £50 I think. That was splashing out back in the day where just being able to afford a seat in the building could be a push. These days with a more stable income I'd go up to £200 if I really, really wanted to be at a show like a WWE ppv if I could get to one. Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Last nights house show in Liverpool cost me £90 (well £115 factoring in Ticket Quarter’s fee addons and insurance) which was the block over from the aisle and 6 rows back from the entrance way so not a bad seat but a ridiculous price for a non televised show, think the last TV taping I went to on the announcer side of the ring only cost me £70 but that was in 2016 Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted October 16, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 16, 2024 Last time I went to a WWE show was a house show in Newcastle for about £45 in 2009. I saw they were in town this week and figured I’d maybe have a look and as soon as I saw even the cheap seats were in or approaching triple figures I noped right back out. Criminal. Quote
AnotherCrapUsername Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 I still have nightmares about thenprice I paid for front row Wrestlemania 20 tickets as a stupid 19 year old. With the exchange rate it worked out at just under £2000. As a near 40 year old man now I just can't understand why I'd make that decision other than having no responsibilities in my life at the time. Quote
Paid Members unfitfinlay Posted October 16, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 16, 2024 The most was about £150 for a floor seat at a Stardom show last year. I thought that was a bit excessive but, I decided it would be a bit silly to travel to Japan and have a shite view. As it turned out, I went to a Sumo show in the same arena the day before and got a better view from my £40 ticket in the stands. Only other shows I’ve been to were the two London All Ins. £45 last year and £90 this year. I think that’s about my limit. I considered going to the Glasgow Clash at the Castle and Smackdown taping but the prices were insane. They seem to have sold them all though, so fair enough. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted October 16, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 16, 2024 £3 to watch Arachnaman vs Raging Rory Campbell at a holiday camp in Great Yarmouth. My dad paid. Quote
