Has an own goal ever won goal of the month? If ever one was in with a shot, it's that one.

I seem to recall there was a poll shortly after about greatest British hero or something that QPR fans hijacked and Pollock won with about 80% of the vote.

Why didn't you pick this o... oh.

I think it's entirely fitting that in a season where Spurs were genuinely in the running for all 3 trophies, that it ultimately ended up trophyless to that goal.

Skip to the 57th second to see former Cov top shagger Noel Whelan score an own goal against Cov.  To make matters worse/better, this was on his birthday.

Gignac living his best life in Liga MX while pundits cry about him 'wasting his career' is one of my favourite things in football. He's scored a ton of great goals there, too, none better than this.

It was for the opposition, but this is probably the best goal I've ever seen in person (probably even beats Hal Robson Kanu v Belgium in Euro 2016 which I was there for as well).

Lee Beattie for Prestatyn against Bangor in the Welsh Premier.  We still won 3-1 so I didn't care too much.
