Smashing strike from Deryn Lang for  4th tier Stranraer to equalise in the Scottish Cup against 9th tier Threave Rovers this evening. The game was also noticeable for featuring young Charlie Watson, a 19 year old player who is battling Stage 4 cancer. The terrible story has been given some press this week and how remarkably courageous the guy is for somehow managing to still play with all that going on. Anyway, tonight he gets a red card in the 91st minute with the score at 2-2 and Stranraer then go on to score a winner with the last kick of the game. One of the cruelest things I've ever seen in football.

Some goal though.

Edit for Bacon: Threave Rovers are in the 9th tier, not the 8th tier as originally posted.

The demographic on this board means we’ll all either remember this, or remember it from this.

Sparky scored so many banging volleys. He was probably my first favourite football player.

"Volleys" would be top place on the Family Fortunes board where people were asked to name something they associated with Mark Hughes.
