Remembered I had "World In Motion" downloaded in the wake of Toto Schillachi's passing. I'm rubbish reading football books because I spend too much time looking up the clips or watching old VHS tapes for memories I have triggered. Obviously the Massing foul on Caniggia is the most shared clip from the opening game but this is a goals thread so here's the winner. Pumpido is absolutely atrocious. Can't think of much worse goalkeeping in a massive game.

The tweet is from the Vincera podcast that ran through 2020. Highly recommended if anyone hasn't listened to it. Was a big part of my walks and bike rides when the world was closed.

As can be seen from the thread in general, I try to highlight good goals I watch from the Scottish leagues especially. As can be seen from my post, I gave no commentary as to whether Celtic are my team or not other than a non-partisan comment of "wonderful goal". This is the best goal I have seen today. With all this in mind, I will continue you to post the goal of the day in the Goal of the Day thread regardless of whether it's courtesy of Celtic or Civil Service Strollers. I mean, you could have just commented "nice".

Yes, I've enjoyed your regular contributions of cracking Rangers goals especially. Oh wait.

Love that goal. Was on some compilation tape I had as a kid. Proper wing play from that lunatic Boli.

We used to always try volleys like Papin or Mark Hughes. What do kids do these days? I see loads of little Jack Grealish's at footy. They've all got the shirt, the hair and the alice band. How do you be Jack Grealish though? "I just hugged the touchline for 5 minutes, then passed inside"?
