Tim Healys Chutney Spoon Posted Tuesday at 06:49 AM Posted Tuesday at 06:49 AM Funny how they took offence to bombs in Riyadh but didn't mind a reference to the firing squad execution in the US Quote

Given that he left WWE after being asked to take a pay cut, the odds of him joining a company which would pay him even less seem extremely low. Anyway, TNA have now formally confirmed that Caster is no longer with them (link to Fightful). I'd always wanted to see AEW do more with Caster, but incidents like this help you understand why they didn't - he's an absolute liability. Referencing an attack that resulted in multiple deaths is stupid in itself, but given TNA's links with Saudi money-superfans WWE it's down right idiotic to do something like that. He obviously has form for this - referring to a real-life rape during a rap on Dark and (to be honest, I've only just learned about this one) forcing them to cut a rap on Rampage that referred to the Luigi Mangione case (link to Sports Illustrated) then complaining when they cut it. The other thing I've learned from this incident is that he's 37, making me think he perhaps doesn't have it in him to learn from his mistakes. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted Tuesday at 07:58 AM Members Posted Tuesday at 07:58 AM He's also a fucking terrible rapper, proper bargain basement stuff. I know it's not the most important thing here but it always sounds so, so shit. At least Cena was fairly good, and made a half decent album! Quote
westlondonmist Posted Tuesday at 08:00 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:00 AM I don't really understand that rap? Was he supposed to be the good guy? The bad guy? Funny? The crowd seemed utterly dead, and I'm not surprised. Think I've heard better rapping from P.N News. Quote

As far as this goes, to be fair on Caster, that might have been down to the fact they attracted a crowd of around 2,500 in a venue that could accommodate 10,000. I've admittedly not watched the show, but I can't imagine it was an electric atmosphere at any point of the show. Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted Tuesday at 08:13 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:13 AM It’s on TNA as much as Caster for not screening what he was going to rap before the show but really what a dumbass, your first booking since leaving AEW and that’s how you go about it, meaning you get, probably, blacklisted from one promotion which also may kill a back door route into the biggest one Wouldn’t surprise me if he just becomes an Indy guy for the remainder of his career now where he can rap without consequences Quote
Merzbow Posted Tuesday at 08:16 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:16 AM My conspiracy theory is that Tony Khan actually sent him over to finally kill off TNA through offensive raps, he just wasn't meant to get sacked this quick. Quote

If the opportunity ever arises to reform The Acclaimed, it's a bit of a no-brainer for me that you might want to do that. Quote

I suspect he'd get away with slightly more than he does in terms of the content if he could actually rap to a decent standard. God awful flow. Quote

I'd like to see him stay with AEW, although the fact his contract has expired makes me think that's unlikely. He's really good on the mic and great in ring - when he finds the right character, I could see him becoming a big star wherever he lands. Quote
