Members SuperBacon Posted June 2 Author Members Posted June 2 When we went to Thorpe Park on Sunday my youngest decided to wear a 1996 Brugge shirt (original obvs) that I'd given to her years ago. I'd forgotten all about it until I saw her wearing it. In really good nick and can fetch a penny, but she's happy with it and that's what football shirt collecting is all about. Quote
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted June 2 Paid Members Posted June 2 Love that, it's a beauty. On the Friday before the play-off final, the missus and I went out for breakfast. Saw a little girl in one of the mid-80s Hull City kits. An absolute cracker. There's been a big retro movement recently so I thought it was a repro but her Mum said it was her Dad's OG shirt. Made it even better. Quote
Merzbow Posted July 3 Posted July 3 The new Cov shirt is being shit on for being striped instead of just Sky Blue but I don't remember anyone giving a toss in previous years. Quote

I think it's more to do with the shade of blue being quite rich/dark in Cov terms, so it looks more like Huddersfield or Sheffield Wednesday. Plus the colour of the sponsor means it'll be compared with an old Tesco carrier bag. There was another kit doing the rounds on DHGate which was allegedly going to be the new kit that aesthetically was far more popular (and in keeping with recent colour tones of blue). However, I really like it! Quote

TildeGuy~! Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Apologies if already mentioned but I’m looking at buying a few kits and I’ve heard of fakes that are good quality and a good price but still unsure of what website to use due to lack of reviews. Is anyone able to vouch or recommend a few? Thanks Quote
TibBo Posted July 26 Posted July 26 Never had any issues with dhgate really. They sell retro ones you can't get from official outlets too and do custom name/number printing with the correct fonts etc. You are usually looking at around 15 quid for the full kids kit. Just check the reviews from the different sellers. Quote

Is anyone able to vouch or recommend a few? Thanks I bought fake football shirts in the last few years and they aint worth the hassle if you want to wear them more then a few times. My logos come off quite quickly even if you cold wash them and dry them on the clothes horse. The websites constantly have to change their addresses cos they get shut down. If you are still determined to buy football shirts then look for ones that say 1:1 Also look on Reddit cos there is a sub reddit specifically for replica football shirts. Also when buying a shirt make sure you go 1 or 2 sizes bigger then what you would get in the UK. Edited July 26 by FTR2020 Quote

Thanks While I haven't personally purchased off here, a LOT of the Spurs mob in my supporters group got their shirts off here this season and all say that they've been superb. https://wwjersey.com/ I think I'll cave as my youngest has always wanted the 'Ajax away' green Spurs shirt with Dele on the back (her favourite player of all time) Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted July 30 Author Members Posted July 30 I don't like many new shirts, but this Strasbourg one is absolutely gorgeous. sexy French sods. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted July 30 Paid Members Posted July 30 That is lovely, and for a rarity the sponsor logo actually fits in with the design (though it really needed that little bit of red from the club emblem to work). Quote
