I was looking out for and decent kids stuff. Zog is one of the weaker Julia Donaldson IPs so I'm not excited about that tbh.

They'll never top the adaptation of Room on the broom.

I'm excited about having something fucking new for the kids to watch. I don't care how shit it might be.

Tiddler the fidgety fish?

It's a really weak effort. It reads like they intended it to rhyme but gave up shortly after starting.

The story is also the undersea equivalent of his mother telling him to go play in the traffic.

Room on the Broom is the one, I've got all the voices down & everything. She's absolutely got the kids book market sewn up though. At this point I reckon she can bash out any old vaguely rhyming crap & make a mint.

No Snail and Whale love?

The classic Gruffalo is still the best though. Plus the adaption has James Corden in it and EVERYONE loves James Corden.

She does seem to be good at putting newcomers over though. She works with a number of different writers and illustrators and being able to put her name on their solo works must be brilliant for their exposure.
