The Official UKFF RAW thread (part 2)...

The "we want Cody" signs were fan made and is just dim Meltzer pushing his "its all a work" thing.

Logan Paul has previous with the Rock and can get away with saying what he wants on social media. Ricochet is an idiot that puts his foot in his mouth every few weeks. Not orchestrated.

This is all a big, hilarious miscalculation by the Rock and them srambling to save face.

That’s not completely true. There were absolutely fan made ones. There were also a lot of rectangular ones with #wewantcody in red that were scattered around the crowd, also seen at the NXT PLE on Sunday.

Melter says Rock doesn't care if he's booed. He cares about "The Box Office" so no chance he drops out.

Remember, anything beginning with “Meltzer says” can immediately be dismissed.

Ratings chat, share price chat, dislike chat, now planted signs chat.

Oh fuck off.

Look, all we're trying to do is work out the main question. How do you solve a problem like Maivia?

The problem with them leaning into "#WeWantCody" by having some of their talent Tweet about it, planting signs, and just generally acknowledging it all in the first place, is that it doesn't make sense any more. Why is Logan Paul, a massive heel, Tweeting about it if Cody's supposed to be the underdog babyface in all of this?

Pro wrestling does social media in a way unlike any other medium involving characters, where both the character and the real person inhabit the same account. So equally the real life Joe, Colby, Pamela etc shares/replies their real life thoughts and feelings at any given time or shares media for what they're up to off the clock, but any day you might see "I'm going to fuck you up next Thursday at the Tampax Arena" tagging the account of their rival character, who replies in character inbetween photos of their cat. It's truly bizarre.

They’ve really booked themselves between a Rock and a hard place.

Is it a coincidence that they seem to have this problem every decade with Wrestlemania or are WWE simply that lazy they think a triple threat for our main event of an anniversary mania is the the way to go.

Messed up at 10 when it should have been Lex v Bret, although the mini “tournament” was great at the time.

20 was arguably done well in the end but Benoit’s main beef was with Heyman on smackdown so was a strange swerve to suddenly challenge HHH

Wrestlemania 30. We all know the mess that was

Now here we are again. Cody, Rock and Roman. We could argue that this year is a bit less cut and dry as Cody has business on both brands, but there is potentially a triple threat again on both sides of the coin in Cody/Rock/Roman and Seth/Sami/Drew.

It makes more sense for the threeway on Raw than it does for the smackdown side of things

The main event. As a kid I Felt it should have been Lex v Bret instead of Bret v Yoko. Bret getting his win back from Yoko was understandable but Lex v Bret would have been the bigger match possibly.

As a kid I wanted Crush to be WWF Champion. I was wrong.

I think having the big bad knocked off at Mania was, and always is, the right call, as opposed to splitting an audience. They gauged fan reactions to Lex or Bret as the next hero at the Rumble, you just didn't promote babyface vs babyface in singles on PPV in 1994.
