Paid Members Egg Shen Posted August 2, 2021 Author Paid Members Share Posted August 2, 2021 Tommy Fury will fight Anthony Taylor on the Paul/Woodley undercard. you may not instantly recognise the name, but hes a Bellator MMA fighter. He was in a bit of a heated feud with James Gallagher a few years ago. He's 0-1 as a pro boxer and will be much small than Fury. He trains with Jake Paul though and talks a ton of shit. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted August 5, 2021 Author Paid Members Share Posted August 5, 2021 Daniel Dubois posted a picture of the Jake/Woodley card on Instagram and is getting piled on in the comments: Comments saying he should be embarrassed to be on this card, he should be headlining over Jake Paul, he needs new management, boxing is a joke etc. How can people not see that as a US debut for Daniel Dubois he's scored an pretty sweet deal here. He's got a showcase spot on Showtime PPV, a show which will be covered by every combat sports publication around (both Boxing and MMA), and he's likely going to win via highlight reel KO. The boxing/YouTuber dynamic is the same as wrestling/MMA when Lesnar went over to UFC. It’s tremendous for Daniel - global exposure in the biggest market in the world, and it also happens to be the home market of the next opponent he needs to lure into a fight (Bryan).
