That's a fair point, but when I said he was on the right side of history when it comes to womens wrestling, I wasn't defining history narrowly as 'how WWF portrayed women as sex objects in the attitude era'. Given his output, he's obviously going to have written plenty of things that would be questionable - especially when looked at through 2019 glasses - but when taken as a whole, I think he's on the right side of histroy when it comes to womens wrestling.

Good grief.

I think a lot of that doesn't make for good reading, but in his defence, I think his critique of Sable's appearance is rooted in the fact that he doesn't think women should have to have boob jobs to be pushed. I note he'd say those things rarely when women are presented as wrestlers in other promotions versus when they are presented as strippers who occasionally wrestle in mud matches in WWF.

The thing is he's not critiquing wrestlings portrayal of women and how it should be better but the woman herself simply for the way she looks and comments like "low rent stripper" show his contempt for women in general.

As I said, his critique of Sable is rooted in the fact that he disagreed with WWFs portrayal of women at the time. How does his 'low rent stripper' comment show his contempt for women in general?

Even if this is correct I'd expect it be purely from a puritanical viewpoint going by how he describes Sable's body and sex workers.

I'm not judging anyone else. But my experience is that most men had horrendous attitudes. On here it was rife. i'd only exclude Houchen who has always had a wonderfully progressive attitude. The rest of you are animals.
