Corrie is too slow paced around that time. It must be hitting around about the same time as Eastenders on Drama and Eastenders knocks it out the window. Corrie is just slow. No MAJOR storylines yet, unless you count Ken Barlow bedding his secretary as a MAJOR storyline. Ken Barlow with his shirt off, lying in bed, is an image I'll never forget. Jack and Vera are a great double act, as are Bet and Alec and Audrey and that fat moaning cunt Alf. Sally Webster is a beautiful looking thing. Corrie is light entertainment that can mix it up when it wants to. It’s recently had the Alan Bradley storyline, Ken Barlow going all bad Superman and Gail nearly aborting David Platt (shame that didnt happen). I cant warm to Des and Steph though. Quote

But rewatching it he wasn't as much of a bastard as I remember. Ken Barlow is in the midst of a proper heel run now. Quote
