Fog Dude
The results went into the original post on Sunday night, but I'd somehow misremembered the scoreline at Anfield, so I had to edit it a few hours later just as Clash of Champions was starting. The fixtures for Week 8 will be up right underneath all that once I'm finished writing this up. There's no change in the gap at the top of the table despite an above-par average score of 8.3 points this time out. Boro never looked like helping out Glenryck Pilchards once Spurs scored, and he duly ended as the worst performer with just 4 points. The other 11 participants all rightly disagreed with him to claim their pair of bonus points. With mim731 dropping out, ZKM is now chasing a trio at the other end who are all 6 points ahead of him. As for the other matches – wins for Liverpool and Man City proved fruitful, at least in terms of one pointers, but so did important away victories for Palace and Saints. A score draw at Stoke wasn't too bad for most, but the outcome at Dean Court caught a lot of players out. A big home triumph for Arsenal led to more of a mixed bag alongside a stalemate in Florence. Torino managed a home triumph even though Joe Hart let in a penalty by (then) 39-year-old Francesco Totti, which understandably few people guessed beforehand.
