Undefeated Steak
Thanks Chokeout, that's reassuring. I've put the razors back Gus.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted August 13, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 13, 2016 Chokeout is right on the grey front- it's a good look. The sign of a distinguished gentleman.
CavemanLynn
Mr Fantastic Clooney salt'n pepper style is a great look. Ā Soon as it starts balding at the top or widow's-peaking like Road Warrior Animal, bic it and you won't age another day for 30 years.
hallicks
I appreciate the Alan Sheaer/Steve McClaren widow's peak. Just clinging on so hard to the last vestiges of something atop their bonce.
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted August 13, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 13, 2016 When I go grey, I want hair like Philip Schofield. He has that metronomic executive hair that part Jews like me can only dream of.
patiirc
Right guys, I need to talk about hair. I've had the odd grey hair poking through every now and then for about 5 years. Only a couple at a time though so nothing a pair of tweezers can't keep on top of. Over the last month or so the number of grey hairs above my ears has shot up. To the point a few people have commented on it. I can live with that though. Ā But for the first time I'm noticing a load of hairs on the bottom of the bath every time I get a shower. There were a load of hairs in the sink last night, couldn't work out where they were from until I remembered I wet my hair in there before work in the morning (need it to be damp to gel it). Ā Hoping this is a bit of temporary moulting but I'm worried it's the start of a receeding barnett. FFS. Ā Hmm interesting, could be stress, could be MPB or it could be gelling it to the nines. Ā See how you go with no gell for a bit and some multivits and shizzle and see if improves, if it doesnt then yeah it's that time in life. I started losing mine when I was 16, yes, fucking 16.. clumps of 'curtainy' goodness was not a look to behold for the ladies in pat's lfe. Tbh though one of my mates lost all his hair colour by then and wasnt Albino. He was the Silver Fox before it was cool to be so, so clearly those with an ID problem would send him to the bar repeatedly. Ā Plus Hair loss is usually due to too much Testosterone! Undefeated Steak
Here's hoping it's using too much gel. Started gelling it again recently so it could well be that. I'll give it a break next week and see how I get on!
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted August 14, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 14, 2016 I've been starting to go a lot more gray now I'm under a bit of stress with Mumzie's health. Wouldn't worry about it.
Rey_Piste
I'm greying at the temples, but you can't see it as I have long hair. When I brush my hair I find really long white hairs.
deathrey
I have found an alarming amount of grey hair recently. I really don't want to start dieing my hair but I think I may have to soon. Edited August 14, 2016 by deathrey
Paid Members SiMania Posted August 14, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 14, 2016 I shave my head so the grey up there doesn't matter, but I'm very patchy with grey on my face so can't have a beard as it makes me look much older.
Paid Members GlennCullen Posted August 14, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 14, 2016 Embrace the grey. Mine has been steadily turning for the past couple of years, hoping for a full silver flock by the time I hit 30.
deathrey
Grey doesn't quite have the same effect on women
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted August 14, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted August 14, 2016 And yet you get women in their teens and early twenties dying their hair grey. Ā If don't want to go the whole hog, just turn the effected area into a silver streak.
deathrey
That's because they look young enough for people to know it's not natural! The texture is much nicer on dyed (sp?) Grey hair to be fair, mines coming through pretty wirey. I'm just going to let it roll for now, I care but not enough to actually do anything about it.
