I'm not the one making jokes about "projecting" on 13 year olds.

It’s not a joke.  Just stay out of parks.  Hell, stay out of public in general.

Christ knows what his browser history’s like.......

Interests: Wrestling, TV, Horror, Boardgames, 80's porn.

And "projecting on 13 year olds" apparently.

We still talking about you?

Hmmmm, 80’s porn.  The women in that would be well in their 50’s now, so complete other end of the spectrum.

Failed again sunshine, which is probrably par for the course for you.  Pervert.

On my daily walk and a young girl, couldn't have been any older than 13 or 14, walking past with her friend stared at me and smiled, ogled me basically.

I'm more than twice her age.

What is the protocol for this, smile politely or blank them?

It's quite an ego trip still being attractive to young girls LOL.

Always seems to be schoolgirls, gay guys and my mother's mates who like me - never actually women my own age.

The protocol is to think nothing of it, and definitely not to revel in the thought an underage girl may have found you attractive.

I'm still curious what ogling looks like when coming from a 13 year old?

Actually, what is ogling even from a fully grown women? In my experience, you see someone you might like to take out, you approach them and work it out. Surely ogling is only something that happens in poorly written movies to demonstrate that he/she "wants it"?

I imagine he's come in here to post this, fully aware of the reaction he'll receive, in an effort for attention.

For someone who is quite universally disliked and rediculed fairly regularly here, it beggars belief as to why he continues post on the forum. I believe it's because he's an attention seeking whore. Negative or otherwise.

There’s an option to ignore other posters kindly reminded by Crisp the other day. I advice you all do it if someone is agitating you.

Plus, it’s funny watching your reactions and replies without context, it sometimes looks like you’re all just losing the plot and calling each other out whilst simultaneously agreeing with each other.

As you’ll have heard there were mass student walk outs and organised protests across the U.S regarding gun control laws, fallowing the latest high school shootings.

While some school heads were in complete support of the protests such as those in New York who assisted in closing down streets so that their students could march safely, others were fully against the protests including schools in Cobb County Georgia (Howay Boss man, sort it out).

Worth pointing out that the protests lasted for a total of 17 mins, pretty much the length of a break time.

My favourite thing about the passing of Stephen Hawking yesterday, and I know it's wrong to have a list, is the people on twitter writing their heartfelt tributes, citing his most thought provoking quotes and such like, and using the hashtag #StevenHawkings.

This one is my favourite.

HIS FUCKING NAME IS RIGHT THERE!!!!

Not to knock Hawking's achievements because he was a great man but I sometimes wonder when inspirational people (for lack of a better term) die, are all these quotes really stuff they've said or things people slap on memes, claim they said and try to gain something by posting them. Then of course the masses share...might just be me being a cynic though.

Unlike this irrefutable example, that is sometimes the case, yes. Popular search engines can often be used to alleviate or confirm such doubts however.

As a complete aside, this worries me far more during the elections and in politics generally.   I'm nowhere near politically astute enough to distinguish what's right from wrong when it comes to GDP, economic prospects, income vs inflation etc, but the amount of, sometimes quite crude quotes, graphics, charts i'd see posted to social media without any sort of source attached that had had hundreds and hundreds of RT's was scary.

The fact that in some quarters, public opinion can be so easily influenced by simply throwing together a bogus quote or graph and reporting it as fact, having it go completely unchallenged and spreading like wildfire really plays on my mind - sure I read somewhere, possibly on here that so called fake news is far likelier to be shared online because of its controversial or sensationalist nature, could enough twats with photoshop really sway an election however well intentioned?
