Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay 9,003 Posted October 13, 2014 Paid Members Report Share Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) Oh fuck me this is tragic news. Christ, I've no words. I just recently saw him post something about Kris Travis on twitter as well, and he said he wasn't in the best of health. Still shocking, though. My heart goes out to anyone who knew him. Â I was only recently chatting to him about him uploading his old Stew and Moj podcasts, because I was an avid listener to them (and their exposing of shitty Brit Wres practices). Fellow KISS fan as well. Edited October 13, 2014 by IANdrewDiceClay

Awards Moderator Onyx2 4,982 Posted October 13, 2014 Awards Moderator Report Share Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) Yes Butchi, $tew of this parish. Â Attended a whole bunch of UK shows about a decade ago with him. To say I'm stunned by this news is an understatement. He'd posted on Facebook recently about his ailing health, but it was so full of optimism I had no idea this was coming. Â He was a tremendous guy, full of fun and spirit, incredibly intelligent and a dedicated RIMmer. Rest in peace big guy. Edited October 13, 2014 by Onyx2
Paid Members Carbomb 5,203 Posted October 13, 2014 Paid Members Report Share Posted October 13, 2014 Am utterly gobsmacked as well. I saw from his FB posts he wasn't well, but this is right out of the blue. Truly shocking, as he was one of the nicest blokes you'd ever meet, not just in BritWres. Â RIP Irish $tew. Paid Members Sergio Mendacious 1,389 Posted October 13, 2014 Paid Members Report Share Posted October 13, 2014 I can't believe that the big lad has gone... I haven't been to any Brit shows in years, but he was a fixture during my time as a regular, and the few times we spoke, he came across as a super-knowledgable and thoroughly nice guy. Midnight Zeus 12
It was on this very forum that I met Stew, many moons ago. We shared a love of wrestling, rock music, comics, Star Wars and many other things. We marked out at seeing Great Muta in London, Shawn Michaels in Birmingham, Rebecca Knox in Ware, and the safety of the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. I have a particularly fond memory of driving to a ChickFight show in Great Yarmouth, where we both made mix CDs for the journey and met up with a whole bunch of other peeps at the show. Â He was simply put the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet, and touched the lives of so many in such a positive way. Â You'll be missed Stew, so much.

paltaper 0
So sad to see this on MLW's Twitter. Thought it was a mistake, sadly not. Â Was a lovely easy going fella, and my God, did he love NJPW back in the day (early to mid 2000s) no matter how much Makai Club type nonsense existed. Â RIP $tew.
