Â I'm going to admit I completely bought into Punk fucking his leg when he jumped the guardrail. Everyone's reactions were absolutely brilliant in that segment. I was convinced he was hurt and I popped big time when he grabbed the kendo stick and leathered Heyman. Â I was disappointed that Brie's next in line for a divas title shot. Given Natalya's previous involvement I was really hoping that she'd get the chance next. Â I wasn't too keen on Los Matadores but that's because generally speaking I don't like the more kiddy cartoonish gimmicks like that but it's way too early to pass judgement and the wee bull fella is undoubtedly amazing. Â Cesaro's giant swing is a thing of beauty isn't it? Great to watch, that man must be as strong as an ox. The nonsensical finish just after the move put a bit of a dampener on it though. Â The end segment with Bryan and Orton was pretty good although I will admit I was urging Orton to hit Brie with an RKO. Overall despite it being an enjoyable enough show, next week just feels way too early for it to be the next PPV. After all, a 'Nikki being jealous of Brie getting engaged before her, Brie winning the title, Brie going solo while she was injured etc' character makes sense to me. It seems like it'd be one of those Hardy Boyz breakups where a couple of months later they all realise they're better off as mates. The Bellas are completely reliant on the twin thing -- although I guess with their relationships now, they're not.  Are there any twins in wrestling that have been enemies/separate in a major company? I feel like there have been, but I can't think of any. I googled "wrestling twins" and the first results were all Blossoms and Bellas things. I then read the worst blog I've ever read and now I'm furious. As she said to me once "So, I'm not a woman as I'm naturally skinny?". It's just sexual objectification of a different type only under the charade of being pro-women looking however they want (as long as it's not skinny, because that's unhealthy and sends out unhealthy body image shit). In that case then they should ban both fat and skinny women off telly as it's both unhealthy and only have totally perfect women on which is a state unrealistic for most people to get in. So all this "let them wrestle" is ridiculous. Women are gimmicks. Its one portion of the show they jam in to target an audience of channel surfers. Women wrestling doesn't draw at all. And all this "but the TNA Knockouts get the highest ratings" is nonsense. By that logic Velvet Sky is the best wrestler in TNA, even though she cant hit the ropes and her brawling is less convincing than when my niece shows me what she did at Karate after school. People watch because its women in tight shorts rolling about. My Dad was flicking through the channels a few months back and I walked in and Tiffany and Gail Kim were rolling about. My Dad doesn't even watch Raw anymore. This stayed on our telly until Eric Young showed up in the next segment. Its why Total Divas is popular. People want to see women with their jugs on show and occasionally calling each other cunts behind each others back. I have nothing against women as characters, but 95% of them (even the highly rated ones) are dog shit. Mickie James is a tremendous character, but she's a prime example of this. When you get a character as good as her, she blows away anyone else by a (hardcore) country mile. I watched her on TNA recently and it was amazing the difference in class there was between her and AJ Lee. People were on AJ Lee as being this indy girl (who barely worked the indies) who came out and showed she was better than everyone else, but she isn't near as good as Mickie James. And if Mickie James does come back to do the proposed AJ vs Mickie feud, she'd trounce her. Standards are so low in womens wrestling, these girls seem to have some undeserved sense for achievement, just because a bunch of headcases buy them stuff on their Amazon Wishlists. You see them bitching on twitter about the "luv of teh biz". I listened to an interview with Paige's Mam, Sweet Saraya, and this women is so committed to her craft she's went blind and her knee cap fell off during matches. You aren't competing with that shit, so please dont act like you are some seasoned pro because you teamed with Carlito on a indy show and got a tryout for Shimmer. That is someone who earned her way and carries on out of the love for it. She also worked for Mat Rats, which was a semi-popular teenagers wrestling type show in 2001 and that's when I first heard of her. I think people just assumed that since she wrestled for years and years and she came from the Hart Family that she was actually good. You have to ask what dues did she pay? All her indy dates came in package deal form with Tyson Kidd and Harry Smith or because of her name. If Jim Neidhart was on a show he'd get her booked or all the Hart offspring would get booked on shows together and she worked for Stampede who her uncle booked. People talk about Michelle McCool getting by off who her family is. Natalya didn't have to pay to get trained, she didn't have to hussle to get bookings and she was always going to get signed by WWE. Â I think that's a bit harsh on Beth actually. Â I'd take Beth over Nattie on TV every week, every time. Beth actually got her character over really well and she was effective as a heel and even surprisingly as a face. Her amusing paring with Santino was better than it had any right to be and was better than anything Nattie has ever been involved in. I think she's much better in the ring too (if that matters), having a few really decent matches. I'd struggle to name a good Natalya match actually! Â Beth also had much more of a "look". Nothing is clicking for me at the moment, my interest has died in everything they're doing. Big Show, sarcy Daniel Bryan and the never ending Heyman/Punk feud have become almost unwatchable. The Shield and the Rhodes are exciting though, should be a fantastic match. Would have preferred it if Cody got some shine on the mic but, well, Dusty's Dusty.
