To be fair, that's whoever's uploaded it making it look like it's from a VHS.

It still has a 90s/early 00s vibe to me regardless though. That bit with Roode repeatedly going into the rope especially.

I remember one of the first PPVs Challenge showed (forget which one) went to black, after a while waiting I gave up and went to bed. In the morning, I found out eventually, they made an announcement saying they couldn't return to the programme so they showed something else. Anyone remember that?

Face palm moment that should read 8m :( mock you should haha always proof read what you post

It's not very hard to check those facts and do the math it was above 8m when I last checked in mid 2015 it has however stopped airing in Australia which was 150-200,000 viewers, and New Zealand which was worth around 100,000 if memory serves me right

baring in mind it gets 2-2.5m on average in India alone which is its best market by far

Anyway looking into it based on averages for May 2016 rounded up to the nearest 0/5

180,000 uk challenge

350,000 USA pop

150,000 Canada fight

2.5m India Sony

150,000 France may chaine sport

2m viewers on supersport across 8 African nations

125,000 Brazil esporte

100,000 Denmark canal 9

120,000 Germany dmax

90,000 Israel ego total

115,000 Italy nuvolari

100,000 Poland orange sport

105,000 Portugal le sport tv

115,000 South Africa setanta Africa

100,000 Singapore SingTel Mio TV

90,000 tv9 Malaysia

So in total the average weekly viewers for tna internationally in may 2016 for first runs only and not including any countries replays, Dvr, catchup or whatever else they have is 6.39m viewers

Does Raw even get 18 million viewers worldwide?

Genuine question.

Major guesstimating here, but WWE used to make a big deal of being on in 500 million homes. They're doing two million viewers among 93 million homes on USA Network, so if they were getting the same proportional level of viewership in 500 million homes worldwide, they'd get just under 11 million viewers. In practice it would probably be lower as they aren't in prime time in every country.

Looking at those weekly numbers it's quite staggering that TNA Hasn't ran shows in Europe before now

Looking at those numbers, I'm surprised they haven't ran shows in Africa.

Then again TNA probably need Geldoff more than Africa does right now.

The supersport numbers are given as a single number for 8 countries Chad, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria, Sudan, Zimbabwe & Senegal

By contrast WWE raw which also airs on supersport gets an average of 1.7m

It's probably safe to say TNA aren't shipping much merch to the Ivory Coast though so that 2m may aswell be elephants.

Aside from that the numbers look believable. I'm going to say there's realistically 3.5-4 million people regularly watching Impact worldwide on a weekly basis. I don't think you could be anymore generous than that.

But that makes it even more staggering that they can't shill at least a dvd to each one of them and pay for their tapings :/
