From Meltzer

m and MCC Acquisitions is listed at $3.4 million. TNA has already sold some of its tape library to Anthem.

So some tape library is sold (Anthem is a subsidiary of the Fight Network who paid for latest tapings/Bound for Glory) and they are $3.4 mill in the hole, the debt would transfer too upon any takeover. Rumour is that Corgans injunction was to stop Dixie from going bankrupt.

So does that mean WWE will not be buying the tape library now then?

Jeremy Borash on Taz's webcast:

On the lawsuits against TNA and the rumors about TNA’s future: “How many of those things that you’ve read about have turned out to be true? We’re still here, we’re still producing a show, and as of last week my checks have never been missed. It’s kind of one of those things where, there’s another things that’s out. Is it all factual? Is it all speculation? I can tell you there have been huge things that have reported in the last two weeks, completely fabricated by somebody. When you have those things out there, it really takes away from the narrative, which is the boys, the product, the storylines, the television. There is no other business in the world, where you have to go to work and fear that every detail that what you’re up to is online, criticized, read – it’s messed up.”

On if doing a show at the Hardy compound is a way for TNA to save money: “I heard something last night from one of the most ‘respected news reporters’ that we’re doing this Hardy show to save money. We’re planning a Hardy special in December. Complete [expletive]. Not even close. The amount of money we’re spending on this show is equal to, if not more, than what it would cost to do an Impact.”

On working with the Broken Hardys: “It’s a work in progress, and it’s only getting better. That’s what I love about it. It’s not a one time thing. I put my everything into this situation. Imagine having to convince those guys – run out into this field, we’re lighting giant rockets on the end of my drone to shoot you…go! Run!”

On the Apocalypto match: “I’m gonna predict it right now, no less than a dozen lawsuits when wrestlers openly defy their contracts to come work this match. [Matt] has called out the New Day, he’s called out the Bucks of Youth. This match is coming up, Apocalypto, it’s falls count anywhere, and any tag team through space and time is invited. And he called out people, said if you are under a contract and can’t get there, you are basically admitting that you are a slave to the owner. There is precedent for this. He’s going to say, in the next couple of weeks, that every tag team through space and time is invited, and will be calling people out. This is going to be the most epic tag team match ever – it’s going to be like the Crockett Cup on crack. It is going to be the most epic program you’ve ever seen. Falls count anywhere, elimination match. Tag teams are already contacting – you wouldn’t believe the tag teams that are contacting us to be a part of this. I think there are wrestlers that will breach their own contracts, or, they’ll call out their promoters. Didn’t Vince McMahon let you work ECW to go beat Mike Awesome? There is precedent for this.”

On the look of the show: “There’s going to be a ring there. We’re setting up his ‘Dome of Deletion’ to fully accommodate the six-sided ring, lighting, fans, everything. It will look like a completely different arena. And then of course the Hardy compound will be the battleground for Apocalypto.”

I'd have every mental wrestler ever there just as fans. Papa Shango, The Boogey Man, Kizarny, Delirious, Legless Kamala, Mantar and a load of others just in full gimmick watching on. Like that scene in the Wicker Man where are the people with funny heads turn up.

Unless WWE buys it, I think there's no way the New Day are showing up, so I dont see why he's even bothering to push that as a possibility. I dont know who has the final say in even letting the Bucks of Youth wrestle on someone elses TV. They hold the ROH and New Japan Junior straps, so they arent doing a job. I bet they would love to do it though, since the Hardys are their boys.

On the subject of great matches Jeff Jarrett really knew how to get the best out of Kurt Angle. None of Angle's bad habits in those matches, I assume Jarrett called them. Fantastic bouts.

YES! They had spectacular chemistry, even more so because it didn't matter who was face and heel, both worked in different ways. My favourite was with Jarrett as a babyface, fighting heroically from underneath the whole match when Kurt must have been top bollocks in the Main Event Mafia, unless I've got my eras arse about tit. Jeff still had his long hair before he buzzed it in the Double J MMA era.

Jarrett vs Angle at Genesis 09, one of the best TNA matches ever. Babyface Jeff crawling down the ramp to the ring pissing of blood. Probably up there with Aries beating Roode for the belt as my favourite TNA moment.

Recently seen that Aries Roode match n all, really good show that was. AJ and Daniels put on a match that just about swept the Clare Lynch shit under the rug and you had an Angle v Joe bout too.

Just got TNAplus' £3.45 (I think) a month thing on YouTube - worth it in my eyes for the nostalgia value if you haven't seen the stuff in a long time, as well as seeing stuff I never saw at the time

Little bit more clarity today re money situation

* $3.4 million is owed to Aeroluxe & the Fight Network alone, this is after the Fight Network has bought / been given some of the tape library too

* They have 2 outstanding lawsuits - the Corgan one and "Audience of One" a firm who set up 2 tapings last year and still haven't been paid. Corgan's also includes a personal loan to Dixie Carter for an unspecified amount

* They also owe substantial back tax to the Tennessee government

* It is pay day today for the roster, word going round is that there is not enough or no funds to pay anyone, and several wrestlers will start negotiating with New Japan/WWE citing breach of contract
