Paid Members Thunderplex Posted June 18, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted June 18, 2013 Justice for the girls the vile creature abused. It does not matter if he dies in prison or not, his victims deserve the knowledge at least that he has been given a sentence befitting of such a crime.Unless there is a radical rethink basically as Spurs Riot has said he has been served justice by the law of the land. Not someone else's own version of what 'justice' should be which was my original point want?Exactly. How can people not see that or suggest that because people want a longer sentence put in place that he has no chance of serving due to his age that the justice system is fucked? He's ruined 13 lives from a very early age in at least one case, those people deserve justice.Exacty what? How can people see that we have a judicial and legal system that isn't swayed by the will and the whim of whatever person is convicted by the public and the media today. 9 times out of 10 it's they should hang them, let them rot in jail and throw away the key, and so on. Completely missing the point, as you have done, that justice has been served. You may not agree with it but until we have an anarchical state or similar then a justice system with rules and regulations of what punishments are laid out is the system that we have.Your question was "What more do you want", which was answered. Also, Loki raises a good point. What about the other girls involved?
Keith Houchen
Doesn't the sentance fall into line with what the law was when the crimes were committed? If so then they have to give him that.I wonder what would happen if, say, someone killed a few people before the death penalty was abolished and was caught now. Obviously they wouldn't be hanged but it's an interesting one. Well, to me at least!
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted June 19, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted June 19, 2013 Nobody has mentioned that he won't be serving 15 months. Not even close to it. I'm betting he's out in 6.

Obviously they wouldn't be hanged but it's an interesting one. Well, to me at least!Oddly enough, the Supreme Court in the US ruled this week that you can't give somebody a harsher sentence under current guidelines than they would/could have received at the time of the crime. In the UK, the policy is that guilt or innocence is done by the rules at the time of the crime, but sentencing is done by modern standards with the same proviso as the US that it can't exceed the maximum sentence that applied at the time of the crime. In other words, Hall could only have been sentenced to whatever the maximum was back in the 1970s (which I assume was more than 15 months), but the judge isn't meant to think "what sentence would he actually have got in the 70s" and use that.http://ukcrime.wordpress.com/2013/06/17/st...exual-offences/

Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted July 29, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted July 29, 2013 Anyone ever seen this Letz Go Hunting website before? Its like perverted justice, only through an iphone and its a bloke doing this as some kind of vigilante thing. He arranges these blokes to meet up and then catches them and films them. Not exactly my idea for a webshow to tell you the truth. Â http://letzgohunting.com

Paid Members Dead Mike Posted August 29, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted August 29, 2013 I said that around the time when Glitter got pinched, given how popular he was there must be a bunch of people with tatts of him. A lad I know recently got a tattoo of Thierry Henry, I said every time his name's mentioned on the news he'll be praying it's not kiddy porn.
