UK Kat Von D
America is going a bit crazy with anything pro/anti Trump or political at the minute. There's a lot of OTT reactions. Hardly over reacting since he is the third Anti Christ who Nostradamus predicted will bring about the apocalypse. The end is well close and we are all gonna die. Or Obama is about to reveal the existence of Aliens who are going to set up a new one world government
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted November 15, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 15, 2016 (edited) He wasnt actually fired for what he said. He was fired for saying what he was told not to say. They told him not to say anything about politics before hand. That was the only thing they told him not to say. And he did. So its hardly surprising FloSports were pissed. If this was on a regular Evolve show, filmed for DVD to be released in months and he said it on air without anyone warning him he couldnt say anything like that, then I cant imagine anyone reacting either way. But Evolve have masters to serve right now. As far as Chikara, they stopped using Kevin Owens because he said a bad word on one of their shows. Its a super, super kid friendly promotion, and the owner is a incredibly pretentious cunt, so no surprise there. Doctor Whos Next
Vader has apparently been told he has congestive heart failure and has only 2 years to live. Somebody better tell Bruce Prichard if true, Vader was in the lead to be the subject of this week's podcast and it sounds like its planned to be a burial. Liam O'Rourke
Sucks to hear of anybody being given a death sentence like that, hopefully the jury is still out and all hope is not lost. As an aside, I wonder if the sensitive folks at WWE will be nice enough to prepare a headstone for him. The Dart
Sounds like Survivor Series next year is going to have NXT and Raw at the same arena again like this year, but Smackdown aswell, and tickets go on sale in December, almost a year before the show. That's very unusual!
Ambulance Chaser
Yeah I can see more of this happening, if they can do essentially 5 or 6 Wrestlemania's a year, where the event becomes a whole weekend and attracts folk from all over the World, lump NXT, the PPV and Raw in the same building and Smackdown if not the same building then somewhere close to allow people to do everything. They have done it with Summerslam, obviously Survivor Series has NXT before it, the Rumble will soon become a massive weekend thing. My money is on Money in the Bank being the next mega event that they attach an NXT to, they love Money in the Bank don't they, that briefcase is held in the same esteem as any belt on the show. Jon-Carr_92
Texas is a big wrestling State. So they really win. Note they mention next year being the 30th anniversary which WWE always seem to do. For example saying the 25th WrestleMania was the actual Silver Anniversary though the first event was in 1985 which is saying it celebrated the first anniversary at the first event. Hence, it was the 24th. Why do they always do that anyway?
Paid Members PunkStep Posted November 17, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted November 17, 2016 (edited) But next year IS the 30th anniversary, this year is the 30th Survivor Series event whilst next year will be 30 years since the first event. Hence, it was the 24th. Why do they always do that anyway? They do it because the event only happens on one night of the year, and because WrestleMania used to be heavily branded with the number. So you can't really do the "yay this makes 25 WrestleManias" celebration during the 26th one, it muddies the waters.
