Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted September 2, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 2, 2013 Seen as it's Jeff Jarrett he's up against, what are the odds WWE make Lawler pull out out of pettyness? Like they did with the proposed Hogan match a few years ago.

Like they did with the proposed Hogan match a few years ago. Probably slim. They made Lawler pull out because they were running a 6000 seat building and promoting the shit out of it. WWE did that out of spite to stick it to Hogan. Â I dont think they can pull Lawler from this. Lawler was pulled because Hogan was going to use the footage on VH1 so they hardened their usually flexable "cant appear on a rival network" stance in their contracts to legally pull Lawler out of it. This is just an indy show.
Paid Members JNLister Posted September 2, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 2, 2013 Oh hang on, turns out the Jarrett booking is as a replacement for Idol, who's broken tradition by announcing his no-show in advance.

Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 3, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 3, 2013 Can't wait for this: Terry Funk, the man who holds pro wrestling's all-time record for retirement matches, to the point athletes in other sports have joked about "The only guy who has retired more times than me is Terry Funk," is scheduled to wrestle again on 11/9. Funk & Tommy Dreamer will be teaming on Dreamer's show in Poughkeepsie for his House of Hardcore promotion, facing Lance Storm & X-Pac, stemming from the angle at the end of the company's previous show.  It is being billed as the last time Funk & Dreamer will ever team. But not as Funk's last match.  The combination there is mind blowing! What twisted imagination came up with such a great tag match?
