Would make sense, possibly. He can then fuck up all of Bristol's sporting clubs

In other news, the story of woe at Darlo continues

Darlington to abandon newish ground potentially

Twitter talk is that they also can't meet their CVA, hence if they're still in business when the new season starts they'll be in the NPL Premier at best.

Championship play-off's start tonight with Cardiff vs. West Ham followed by Blackpool vs. Birmingham City tomorrow evening.

You’ve got four completely different sides here. You’ve got the stars of West Ham, you’ve got the matchplay specialists Cardiff, you’ve got the stoic, solid Birmingham, and the mavericks of Blackpool. I think it’s so exciting. If I was going to stick a fiver on it, I’d go for the mavericks.

Depending on how tonight goes, we could do this...

EDIT: To clarify, we're good away from home and if we can win well tonight, we can take the tie. The momentum could take us on to promotion.

This doesn't make it seem THAT mad...

I'm sure traditionalists will baulk, but if this geezer can get them competing in the Premier League on at least a semi-regular basis then losing the blue kit isn't the highest price to pay.

He clearly wants to market them as definitively Welsh, and maybe eventually sell the brand abroad as just that.

These sort of things don't bother me. If Cov could get back in the premier league, i'd be happy for them to wear cellophane and be sponsored by a strap-on dildo company.

Instead, I have to settle for a sky blue kit and the club being ran by a bunch of dildos...

I dont see how it would make them more marketable than they are? Welsh people arent going to suddenly get behind Cardiff as they play in red and have a dragon on their chest. Cardiff is a traditionally blue city as far as I know and any extra revenue by suddenly being in red will be lost from the rugby side no longer playing in the stadium.
