patiirc
Now confirmed - Sexton's stepping down to pursue other interests. Possibly with Bristol Rugby.  Would make sense, possibly. He can then fuck up all of Bristol's sporting clubs   In other news, the story of woe at Darlo continues   Darlington to abandon newish ground potentially

The Brain
Championship play-off's start tonight with Cardiff vs. West Ham followed by Blackpool vs. Birmingham City tomorrow evening.  You’ve got four completely different sides here. You’ve got the stars of West Ham, you’ve got the matchplay specialists Cardiff, you’ve got the stoic, solid Birmingham, and the mavericks of Blackpool. I think it’s so exciting. If I was going to stick a fiver on it, I’d go for the mavericks.

mikey
Depending on how tonight goes, we could do this... Â EDIT: To clarify, we're good away from home and if we can win well tonight, we can take the tie. The momentum could take us on to promotion.

d-d-d-dAz
This doesn't make it seem THAT mad... Â I'm sure traditionalists will baulk, but if this geezer can get them competing in the Premier League on at least a semi-regular basis then losing the blue kit isn't the highest price to pay. Â He clearly wants to market them as definitively Welsh, and maybe eventually sell the brand abroad as just that. Â These sort of things don't bother me. If Cov could get back in the premier league, i'd be happy for them to wear cellophane and be sponsored by a strap-on dildo company. Â Instead, I have to settle for a sky blue kit and the club being ran by a bunch of dildos...

Welsh people arent going to suddenly get behind Cardiff as they play in red and have a dragon on their chest. Cardiff is a traditionally blue city as far as I know and any extra revenue by suddenly being in red will be lost from the rugby side no longer playing in the stadium. What a fucking shame.According to last nights Look North, Phil Brown has said he "would return if offered the job". Moderators PowerButchi Posted May 8, 2012 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2012 Something to do with Dragons and playing in Red...There already is a team in Wales who do that and are named that. They're called Wrexham.
