Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted May 27, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted May 27, 2017 South Africa have got choking down to a fine art, haven't they? How the fuck did they lose that. Just when you think they have done every way to lose a cricket game that there could possibly be, they find another way.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 1, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 1, 2017 I can only hope you haven't been unfortunate enough to happen across that Google Doodle cricket game today and lost all your productivity as I have done today. (My highest score is 136 so far.) Oh, and England won!
The Curious Orange
136 is pretty good considering that snail seems to bust out some ball of the century style leg spinners pretty regularly!
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted June 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 1, 2017 (edited) 147 for me, narrowly missing out there. Friend of mine says he got 345, which is a chinny reckon if I've ever heard one. Edited June 1, 2017 by Gus Mears
Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted June 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 1, 2017 I lost around 2 hours to it today at work. 166 was my best. Somehow got there with hardly any sixes too.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted June 2, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 2, 2017 Anything under 150 is dogshit to be honest. Although I'm annoyed at the lack of forward defensive. What would the GLY say?
Paid Members eugenespeed Posted June 2, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 2, 2017 I'm dogshit then, my highest is 21.

Enjoyed watching the BBC highlights of the game yesterday, despite the wacky time and horrible editing. Going to get some outrageous totals in this tournament if that pitch is anything to go by. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 6, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 6, 2017 Kumar Sangakkara has been a good addition on commentary for the Champions Trophy, hasn't he? Definitely another one to add to the good pile.
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted June 7, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 7, 2017 I'm currently watching South Africa v Pakistan. Imad Wasim is a very good spinner, and he was born in Swansea. Considering England have selected players born everywhere from Papua New Guinea to Pietermaritzburg in the past 10-15 years how did a homegrown slip through the net? Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 7, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 7, 2017 I think he just chose to represent Pakistan, from what I heard.
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted June 8, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 8, 2017 It's a shame because he looks a really good bowler.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 8, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 8, 2017 He'd only be ruined over here playing second XI cricket in Durham where there's no turn.
