Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted July 6, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2017 I do! Bloody hell, what a blast from the past that is. Showcasing my namesake and his batting prowess, wonderful.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted July 6, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 6, 2017 Joe Root has more lives today than a cat. Great innings though. I'm fucking furious with South Africa's slow over rate as they've not enough bowlers to stay fresh until the new ball. They should really be punished. Bet they aren't. Paid Members Gus Mears Posted July 6, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2017 I'm absolutely agog that a left arm spinner managed to overstep the line. That's proper pub league.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted July 6, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2017 No, course they won't. They should be as harsh with it as they are in ODIs and T20 now but they never are. It's stupid they stop play at 6.30 even if there are overs left, what nob thought that was a good law to come up with.
Paid Members gadge Posted July 6, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2017 The cricketing gods were definitely smiling on England today. Lucky boys, and an end of day score that hides top of the order problems.

Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted July 6, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted July 6, 2017 Stokes getting the reprieve after getting bowled by Morkel off a No-ball is just about forgivable but the Root stumping off a No-ball by Maharaj is inexcusable. If a spinner can't get his foot behind the line he doesn't deserve the wicket.  There was a lovely stat on TMS though. Morkel has 12 wickets off No-balls. That is the most in the history of Test cricket.
Guy Bifkin
Just watching the highlights and what the fuck was Ballance doing not reviewing the Jennings lbw? There was a time when I thought he was the new Alan Border. Nowadays he's the new Alan Igglesden.

The Curious Orange
Any England in the nineties stable would have to mirror the selection policy and have different members each week.
