Wow. Some kid. When Van Veen was 2-0 up in legs to make it 2-0 in sets and then Littler came back, I knew he lost the game then. He crumbled as Littler went up levels and levels. Incredible check out to win it.

18 years old. 3 world finals in a row. Two won. Has had three different girlfriends at each one as well.

Gutted for Gian after such a great tournament. Looked like an all-timer of a final after two sets and then Littler's class showed big time. He's out of this world. Gian had chances but just couldn't take themand rattled himself.

Fantastic tournament. So many stories. So many emerging players from all over the world. Have loved it.

Scarily good performance and composure. Absolutely destroyed poor GVV, who didn't actually play that bad. You felt like he had to win that second set to make things interesting, and when he lost it, it felt like it was all over already. Considering how good GVV has been all tourney, for Littler to absolutely maul him the way he did, seemingly with another one or two levels higher he could play at, is incredible.

Spectacular performance, but just like a load of Taylor finals, it was disappointingly short and not as entertaining as a close final would be. That's the only downside to Littler being that good, that you don't get much entertainment from his squashes from the Quarters onwards.

Very good tourney though. Up until the Quarters it was turning into an all time great, but from that point the majority of ganes was disappointingly one sided.

Littler was ruthless. GVV played well the entire tournament but was no match in the final, which was a shame. If Luke stays at this level then it's going to take something special to beat him at the Worlds.

Darts doesn't sleep though. Q School starts tomorrow. I see Dom Taylor didn't get the prize money for the Worlds so loses his tour card, so when the ban is announced they won't be banning a Tour Card holder.

Steve Beaton has down a U Turn on retirement and entered Q School. Some of the old timers still trying to give it a go. John Part, Mark Dudbridge, Kevin Painter, Andy Hamilton.

John Part just sneaks in to stage 2 of Q School getting the last position in the order of merit. He was the man who stopped the Phil Taylor run as world champion. Littler better watch out.

I also see Jasper Scarrott has snuck in. If your surname is Scarrott then Jasper is one hell of a name to give your kid.

I also see that Justin Bradshaw qualified for Stage 2. Surely his nickname must be "The Hawk"

Simon Whitlock's lad Mason has had a bit of a time at the European Q School. Called Robin Pietsch a blatant cheat on social media after he got beat 5-0 by him yesterday, and also heard he shouted in his opponents face after winning the bull in one of his games. Qualified for Stage 2 but sounds like a real charmer.

Ahh, that's great. I was following along on dart connect when I could. Saw he lost in the final round and thought that was it. I think there was a 28 or 29 dart leg in one of his early matches today, it was glorious. Not sure he's got the levels anymore to do any damage in the final stage, but I'd love to see him randomly pop up in a stream on one the floor events.

What has Littler been like since the World Championship?

I watched the Premier League last night and he looked like he couldn't give a shit and got completely battered by Clayton, who admittedly had a fantastic night.

He’s won the World Masters and a World Series event. The Saudi Arabia one.

He probably doesn’t give a shit. This premier league format is dog shit and boring. I imagine he’s just coasting until the UK Open.

Yeah he definitely doesn’t give a fuck at the moment. He had one turn last night where he slowed down his action to the point of ridiculousness (for him). Not to take away from Clayton, mind, he was great all night and deserved the win.

To be fair, Littler was in top form from what I remember in the Masters, and was superb last night too with a massive average. Only seems to be the PL where his slow starts may be his only weakness.

Humphries has been the same too, but then he won a Players Championship this week and was also class in the Masters.

Yeah I caught the second half of Sunday's games and he looked terrifying.

Van Veen hit him with a 9 darter in the final and he didn't even flinch. Won like 4 straight legs right after it. Looked a completely different player than on Thursday. Can understand the comments that he can't be arsed with the Premier League.

First event on the PDC channel I've ever watched and the commentary was a million times better than Sky.

I’m just catching up on Euro Tour, and Paul Nicholson just dropped a Danhausen reference in the Dirk-Mario match. Thought it was worth a mention….
