Incredible game between De Decker and Munyua. Crowd were absolute cunts to De Decker and clearly put him off. But doesn’t take away Munyua’s performance. He’s got a lovely, speedy throw. He a big miscounter like Jose De Sousa. Thought he’d completely fucked it after the 99 miscount and even hitting what he thought was the winning double.

Hate those Ally Pally pissheads though.

A gentleman dressed as a chicken sat next to me on the train home yesterday, he and his chums had been up at the darts.

I’ve only caught up with the Wattimena game from last night, but the Peter Crouch bit was hysterical. Gonna be hard to top that as moment of the tournament for me.

Was a cracking afternoon session. The Sakai match was class, as was the Munyua one. I actually didnt mind the Ally Pally crowd for once, as when watching it you could tell that they were genuinely rooting for these guys. Couple of great moments for these two though.

Thought Wattimena was going to bottle it, but did just enough. Nowhere near what he has been playing for alot of this year. Could have got even more serious for MVG but he stepped it up slightly and squashed any potential upset. Was definitely a few moments where he let his opponent have chances though.

Bloody hell. Of all the tournements to fail a test, it's the most important one of the year. Crazy stuff.

Wasn't much of a day yesterday. Beau bottled it with her performance. Apart from a handful of legs, her performance was very average. Gurney wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders either. Poor game. Unlike Beau, Gurney found ways to win even when playing average. That 144 was a cracking finish.

She averaged more than him. I’d say she only bottled that last leg that Gurney won. He was terrible and think he got away with it as she was the better player. I wouldn’t say bottled it though.

As for Dom Taylor, this is not the first time he’s been caught with the white stuff.

He has an ugly throw, but I’m glad to see Zonneveld beat Michael Smith.

I hope Bunting goes out tonight. His ego has become ridiculous. His press conference the other day where he called himself the peoples champions, claimed he has the best walk on, best fans, best darts, best social media and best family ffs. He’s becoming a parody of himself. He needs humbling.

Dawson and Webster ripped him a bit for that at the start of the 2nd set, very enjoyable!

I had the volume down as I’m at work so missed that. What did they say?

It was along the lines of, not sure you can be the people’s champion if you call yourself that? And something about being very humble.

Get in, Plaiser. Off you fuck Price. A wonderful result.

Plaisier is now one of My Boys. Brilliant performance.

He played cracking, to be fair. Gezzy has lost his Eye of the Tiger. Hes become way more mellow these last few years, and actually likeable Id say. He handles defeat well now, just look at how he reacted during the World Cup final. Even the mostly English lot at Ally Pally were chanting his name. His image has never been better, but it seems to be at the expense of winning majors. He has rarely gotten close these last few years.

Ratajski played cracking in his match, and there was good stuff from Woodhouse and Littler too. Im glad Littler has Mensur next, as watching him is painful. He definitely slowed himself down on purpose, and it worked to be fair. Getting through R2 with an 80 average.
