Surely it has nothing to do with what show or film they're in? Best example I can give is Gillian Anderson. Shes one of the most well known actresses in the world, but I'd STILL say she's less commercial (or more accurately less conventional) than say, Angelina Jolie for instance. Anyway, I agree on Jemima Kirke. Lovely.

Literally the first knowledge of her I had was watching the latest series of Sex Education. When I googled her, it turns out she was in Girls. However, I never watched Girls. I also learnt she has a sister called Domino, who is married to Penn Badgeley.
