Saw a clip of Heyman verbally sucking off Hunter, saying Trips is so great at his job because he knows, “what’s works today might not work tomorrow.”

Same man that is spamming The Bloodline Saga three years past the peak, Paul?

I saw a clip of him being asked about AEW. He was quite complimentary, which was a nice surprise. He said something along the lines of it being good to have an alternative, and wrestlers having more places to work is always a good thing (I'm paraphrasing here but can't be arsed to find the clip again while I'm at work).

However, he also followed that up with saying AEW has its roots in ECW, so if you read between the lines I guess we have Heyman to thank for AEW! And of course he also had to get a dig in there about AEW not being competition to WWE. So even when he's being nice, it still comes wrapped up in self-promotion and pettiness. The most thin-skinned people alive, these lot.

I watched 1 minute of a 6 minute clip of Heyman talking about why Curtis Axel and Cesaro flopped with him as manager. Within that minute he said Cesaro had all the tools to be a main eventer, and also that Cena said he could main event Mania against him. Had to turn off then, so god knows what more BS he says in another 5 minutes.

The whole thing is a typical Heyman interview, he says nothing we don't already know, there is less of his "nudge nudge wink wink" nonsense than normal, but I guess that's because the questions were very safe and obviously vetted (and in some instances I guess dictated) by WWE.

For example, he gets asked about the rumours of WWE funding ECW for months before their demise, and goes into way too detailed information for about 30 mins on the specifics and exactly how much money they gave them and what for...all very odd.

Gosh it almost sounds like something a con man would say.

Wrestling’s Lyle Lanley

It always amazes me how past workers are not hunting Heyman down as if they haven’t just spotted him in Seat 3F.

@JNLister’s great book on ECW detailed exactly how much was owed to various people, all the while Heyman is posting pictures on social media of himself flying on private jets (which I realise he likely isn’t paying for) and eating in stupidly expensive restaurants.

Im much more inclined to listen to the interview with Big E that was released the day after rather than 2hrs of Heyman’s bullshit
