Paid Members Supremo Posted January 17 Paid Members Posted January 17 Was utterly convinced Gangrel won the European Title at some point. Maybe the real Championships were the Cheese and Onion crisps we ate along the way. Two that immediately come to mind are Bam Bam Bigelow and Lex Luger never getting a sniff of a bet in WWF. “Kliq’d,” out of it. I hope Lex still has this hanging in his office though. Quote
Chili Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I always think of people like Hercules. 85-92 run in the Fed, nearly the whole period we contain it too. Not a single title shot, though he did have an amazing consistency with getting on PPV. Completely uninterrupted until This Tuesday in Texas where if it was a 3 hour card, I'm sure he'd have been on, looking bizarrely aged in a year and losing to Kerry Von Erich, Greg the Hammer Valentine or someone. TheScarlettChad Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Chris Masters never won a single belt in either of his runs in WWE, He did win on the indies but not in WWE. Quote

The Reverend Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I'll slightly derail this one (sorry) just cos it got me thinking. Wrestlers who you thought wore the gold - but actually didn't. For me it was the Powers of Pain. For some reason I always think they wore the tag titles. Back on track though - notch me up for another vote for Herc, Hacksaw and the other one for me is Big John Studd who had a couple of non-gold runs in the WWF. Quote

Snuka may have been derailed due to the nancy argentino situation, I wonder had that never happened what his career would have potentially looked like. Quote

WrestlingForFun Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Has to be Tatanka for me. Absolutely pushed to the moon for the first part of his run with the unbeaten streak. Challenged Michaels for the IC title at mania. Beat him by count out and then he never challenged for it again. Felt like they were protecting him for something bigger Got Ludvig Borga’d Heel turn fucked him. Even on his return in the early 2000s it felt that he was going to get the tag belts with Matt Hardy and it went nowhere again. Then another heel turn. Then he was gone. Quote

Roy Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Bam Bam Bigelow didn't win a belt in either of his two stints with the WWF, despite being programmed pretty highly (working alongside Hogan in his first run and main-eventing WrestleMania XI against Lawrence Taylor). Quote

Not only did the PoP not hold the WWF Tag Titles but, astonishingly, the Faces of Fear didn't hold the WCW Tag Belts - which every fucker did! He had some minor titles in Mid-Atlantic, which I wouldn't count at all, never got a big time run with any WWF Champ but did astonishingly again, headline a WCW PPV against Big Ron Simmons. The man had one of the best title wins in wrestling history. None of the pops WWE pipe in compare to that crowd in Auburn Hills that night. The follow-up was pure Hogan and pure WCW madness but, holy fuck, what a moment. On 1/17/2026 at 8:16 PM, WrestlingForFun said: Has to be Tatanka for me. Paid Members BomberPat Posted January 19 Paid Members Posted January 19 As a bit of an aside to this, was there ever a less successful faction than the Million Dollar Corporation? They were around for two years, and for that entire time not one of them won a title. And they included Tatanka, Bam Bam, and King Kong Bundy, all candidates for this thread. Quote

Just checked their wiki page and their only listed “accomplishment” was the ring master having the Million Dollar belt Quote
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted January 19 Author Paid Members Posted January 19 Yeah, the Million Dollar Corporation are amongst the worst stables in history. Given that Sid challenged Diesel for the belt twice, they were in a never ending feud with The Undertaker and Tatanka and Luger was a major story going into SummerSlam, they were effectively a main event heel stable who rarely won on PPV, didn't win any titles, had dreadful matches and dragged down some of the most over acts in the company. That Tatanka & Bam Bam weren't tag champs is something that I find hard to believe. Like Reverend said earlier, it's just one of those things you belive to be true unless you check. Also, with all that said, Tatanka & Luger is one of my guilty pleasure feuds. It's so simple and brilliant. The sort of thing the WWF do really well and then hammer it home with a killer video package. Luger should have turned though. Luger as a heel WWF Title challenger has so much more potential and Luger & Sid as Tag Champs would look awesome too. Quote
