He's had a superb tournament. I love him. He wasn't even on screen but you could just picture his face in the silence when Joe Hart outed him as another Trump golf mate. Rooney has been absolutely furious tonight. Edited July 19 by d-d-d-dAz Quote

DavidB6937 Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Probably more for the Minor Annoyances but saw some American post "so sad FIFA is all over now" and I didn't realise the whole fucking organisation finished. Quote

There's direct running which opens defences, he's got a decent finish at points and he works ridiculously hard. It's just putting it all together but I still think he'll get there. He's definitely got something, and whether it's a bit more coaching or something else he needs to unlock it, it'll come together I suspect at some stage. I think he plays too much with his head, or at least, you can see he’s been given instructions and he’s only thinking about executing them. Dribble a bit, cut inside, try a pass or shot. It’s not reactive or instinctive, and I think that’s what makes him predictable and easier to play against than Saka. Not to say he’s not very talented or skilful, just that he doesn’t have Saka’s magic, which is probably a bit unfair as it’s a rare gift. Anyway, given all the comments in here and in my WhatsApp groups, feeling delighted I skipped the final in favour of the darts. Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted July 20 Moderators Posted July 20 @SuperBacon did you see Guy Mowbray call Pharrel ASAP Rocky? That was probably the highlight of the first half. Quote

That was probably the highlight of the first half. Yeah, absolutely belting. The fact that he thought it was ASAP Rocky, the fact that he called him AKA Rocky, it was all gold. My youngest, who is bang into him at the moment, almost fell off the sofa. Long Live AKA. Anyway, everyone knows his name is WhatsApp Ricky thanks to Liam. Quote
