The most petty thing in the world - because a show with 250 in attendance in some small sports hall is really going to put a dent in the pockets of WM. Normally I'd say that idea would be just ridiculous, but this is WWE - they would see it as a result that by moving to the other side of the world they can sink a bunch of Indy promoters who have just taken the obvious business opportunity to run a show around Mania. Saying that, the UK start time of it being Saudi does sound appealing to me. Sorry. Yes I think they were counter booking venues and running shows so tightly against Indie shows it made it difficult to make them unless you were a diehard. I think by them doing Smackdown and HOF same night, NXT, then introducing Takeover too and then the two night mania, it just makes the whole week more WWE aimed. Quote

The country has at least one (Saudi Pro Wrestling) and I think a couple more inside its borders. Then there's places like Wrestlefest DXB (who are run by Shaheen who seems like a decent bloke) in Dubai among others that could give it a go if allowed. As much as I detest the idea of Blood Money Mania if some small promotions and aspiring wrestlers get a bigger payday and a few more eyes on them at least that's one small thing. Quote
