Play on some of the ECW nostalgia during the run. Jericho becomes the title contender by putting his career on the line while MJF chickens out of using the contract for All Out. Full circle moment to the first All Out with Hangman sending Jericho packing. Fantasy booking is banned. Infinity has killed it. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted September 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2025 Endlessly bewildered by people fantasy booking the Champion of the Fucking World into the Jericho Vortex. Like fantasy booking 1998 Stone Cold Steve Austin to face Tiger Ali Singh. Quote

I don’t know if it’s fantasy booking as much as it is pessimistic realism…I expect him to return this weekend, but if he doesn’t, I imagine we’ve seen the last of him in AEW. It’s remarkable just how little there is to dislike about AEW television since he left. Quote

Paid Members LaGoosh Posted September 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2025 Fucking hell, this is good! I think Jericho turning up is a given, to be honest. Quote

Good lord, why are they shows this long! It's ridiculous. I'm intrigued to see what Hechicero will do in a ladder match. Can't think of anyone less suited for that type of match. I'm sure it'll be a great show. I'll be watching it in short portions over 2-3 days probably. Quote
The King Of Swing Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 I can see Kingston Vs. Big Bill and the TBS match, being on the shorter end, by AEW standards. Honestly I'm not overly excited for this show. Obviously I've ordered it, but my expectations are lower, compared to other shows. Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Zero Hour and the Tailgate Brawl seem to be separate shows running the same time, the former is on YouTube, Prime and X whereas the latter is on TNT and HBO MAX in the US so we might not get that Quote

I'm assuming Zero Hour is just going to be the usual panel show without the matches then. Edited September 20, 2025 by Kamran Quote

In terms of character growth and points, revisiting his early prominent failure and putting that ghost to rest could be pretty good stuff. But it's Jericho. Quote
Kfogg1991 Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 I've never watched a aew ppv live bar London and my god I'm happy I watched this live this card has delivered bar one or two but it's almost impossible too get a clean sweep. Opening tag match was phenomenal I can't recommend it strongly enough. But match of the night goes to Darby Allen and moxley, shocking violence and two guys doing everything they can to to hurt and finish the other by any means. Didn't like the finish it didn't need it and it deflated and took away after everything they did to each other it needed a strong decisive end. This show delivered and worked hard as fuck too put a shift in. Quote

I managed to watch the ladder match which was good but that bump speedball took was absolutely horrific not to mention him not moving a centimeter after I hope he's okay and not injured Quote
