Paid Members LaGoosh Posted September 4, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 4, 2025 As a fan I much prefer going to a show in the afternoon and knowing it'll finish in the evening rather than having to go home at the end of the night. I really don't think WWE counter booking AEW PPVs make any difference at all. If you are a WWE die hard/casual you were never going to watch AEW anyway and the hardcore/loyal fans all know that AEW will always absolutely smoke a WWE show so are unlikely to change their minds. DavidB6937 Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 From a business perspective I think people have said it's an aim to drown out socials etc rather than actually massively impacting on viewing figures or whatever, and that probably makes more sense. Especially when that's blatantly what WWE care more about these days. As a fan who isn't going to either one, the clashes make me roll my eyes but then I love having more wrestling to watch. Quote

digforvictory Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 Think it's a good call to have Hangman vs Fletcher in the main event. I know nobody thinks Fletcher can win and it won't be the most heated main event ever but it would have set a bad precedent I think to have Hangman win the world title and then not main event either of the next two PPVs. I'd be ok with that as long as he doesn't interfere with any other feud and bring down others into his vortex... Quote

Which can both be a sign of how gubbed the search engine is and how desperately they want to forget Jericho. Going into the ECW Arena residency I would have had Jericho pop up on the first show. Play on some of the ECW nostalgia during the run. Jericho becomes the title contender by putting his career on the line while MJF chickens out of using the contract for All Out. Full circle moment to the first All Out with Hangman sending Jericho packing. It didn't happen so i'm happy to go back to forgetting Jericho exists. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted September 19, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 19, 2025 Hangman wins in the main event. Don Callis Family swarm him. All seventy three of them. Don Callis laughing on the mic. “Kenny Omega can’t save you now!” Lights go out. Huge brawl. Orange clears house. Hangman puts the shades on. Double thumbs up. We roll credits. Quote
Tim Healys Chutney Spoon Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 Man I'd actually forgotten about Orange. He'd be a good addition back in the main event scene as a top face. Ignore what I said above, I want OC back! Quote
