One of my first flats after leaving home had a wet room instead of a bathroom. I slipped hit the toilet, dislocated by AC joint and tore 2 tendons.

Work gave me permission to wear elasticated trousers as I had trouble doing up my kex.

Edit strangely I have a scar on my right eyebrow too, but not from the above obviously.

When I was in my early teens I discovered you could get a mad head rush by getting up really quickly, holding your breath and looking up. It was like poppers but much more intense and you could nearly faint doing it. (I am certain I killed many, many braincells). It was brilliant. I usually would do it in front of a sofa or my bed, so I could fall backwards and not hurt myself, but one day I must have moved a few steps to the right of the sofa unintentionally and fell onto my mum's Singer sewing machine which was on the floor, ripping a hole in my trousers, boxer shorts and arse cheek, leaving a scar I still have to this day.

I wish I could say that stopped me doing it, but it wasnt until I discovered booze a few years later that I packed it in.

I had a few freak injuries when I was younger, I have a permanent scar on the bridge of my nose from falling over when I was 4/5, I have a scar on my left hand from a fall that imbedded glass into my hand, I had a (now long faded) burn mark on the inside of my left knee because a kid in my street I was mates with decided, for some reason, to take the hot bulb out his lamp and accidentally dropped it on my leg and I have a hidden scar on my eyebrow from a coin being thrown at me in school

By far worse though was the knee injury I got last year on holiday, from taking a misstep on the outside staircase, of the villa I was staying in with family, taking rubbish out late at night and dislocating my kneecap, tearing part of my thigh muscle and completely severing the tendon connecting my knee to my shin

I have a scar in my eyebrow too. Well, Actually I have two. One from when I was about 6/7 and I was trying to hide from my sisters by balancing on the window ledge behind the curtain, but falling forward and faceplanting onto a doll's pushchair.

The other was after I hesitated when demonstrating my nine section whip, and the dart on the end flicked out and caught me on the edge of my brow. There was a lot of blood, and I had to go to casualty and get it glued shut, however had it been a centimetre lower, I'd probably only have one eye now.

For those unfamiliar with traditional kung fu weapons, it's one of these:

I don’t know if I’m impressed or disappointed that this hasn’t descended into the ‘UKFF’ers ‘Accidentally’ shoving things up their arse’ thread. Yet.

I dont want to turn this into a drugs thread but this has reminded me that when we were teenage stoners, we used to do a similar thing, "chokers"

You'd take a (B-Real voice) hit from a bong, hold it in, your mate would choke you and another mate would pound on your chest at the same time until you'd ultimately pass out. What absolute fucking idiots.

Like you say, surely killed plenty of brain cells.

Almost 10 years ago me and my mates all got our final year of Uni results so decided to spend the day celebrating by getting extremely drunk. We gathered at a mates house and had a Barbecue as it was July and all got through shit tons of cheap Cider. After 8 hours of drinking we decided to go into town to carry on the festivities.

More hours of drinking followed and then it was time to go home. At the time I lived at the top of a massive hill which was a bit of a treck sober never mind absolutely blotto. Someone who saw me said I staggered and stumbled into every parked car on my way up the hill. About half way up there was a garage block between two houses. I decided to go for a piss by the garages but in my stumbling state on the way back managed to fall forward and fall perfectly between a parked car and a wall. I was perfectly wedged between the car and wall and couldn’t get out.

In my drunken state I decided my best course of action was to go to sleep and deal with the problem later. Waking up 2 hours later I had no idea where I was and must have shouted for help. Eventually the guy whose house it was came out and called the emergency services. Eventually 2 Police Cars, An ambulance and a fire engine turned up. They had to winch the car away from me and the wall in order to get me out. I was taken to A and E with mild hypothermia but otherwise not a scratch on me. No wonder the emergency services are in such a bad way

Almost the exact same thing happened to my elderly neighbour drunkenly walking down his drive and getting wedged between his own car and wall. The plot twist being the only reason he’d moved his car to his drive way was so my lads football wouldn’t hit it when him and his mates were playing kerby.
