That's a bloody lovely goal, so I'm going to use it as an excuse to break the "own team" rule (which isn't all that adhered to...) and post this similar but slightly better effort, which I think is the best goal I've ever seen with my own eyes:

How this didn't get Puskas consideration I've no idea.

I think it's the Canuks rather than Yanks, They probably wouldn't have a functioning league unless they brought out the orange ball on the reg.

Love that first one purely because I love a snow covered pitch, an orange ball etc. Game not being called off. Proper football. Well done the yanks.

It was Canada eh!

I was just about to post it, actually. Finding snow football is a rare treat these days.

The first snowy football match I remember watching, and reminisce about often, was Tromsol vs Chelsea. On Channel 5 I think. In the Cup Winners Cup (bring that back). That and a good waterlogged pitch with slide tackles galore is greatly appreciated when you get to see it.

You know, I've seen that a bunch of times and I've only just learned that it was so early in that game!

No fucking idea what the opposition keeper's doing in that Cambodian game though.
