Thing is, out of those three, he's probably the most likely to win by far, no?

Dana? Not a chance. The dude has absolutely zero combat sports background. Unless you count being a boxercise coach for bored housewives in his younger days.

As much as I don't like Mark Zuckerberg, he'd probably manhandle both Dana and Musk. He's at least serious about learning BJJ, and has been competing in tournaments, winning the gold medal in the Nogi Master 1 White Belt Feather Weight Division and the Silver medal in the Gi Master 2 White Belt Feather Weight Division in a competition in California.

It's a ridiculous concept, of course, but if it was to happen? I'd always favour the guy who's training and even competing on the reg.

Fair enough. I thought he did a load of training with fighters to sort of maintain some kind of cred.

Thought I’d throw this in here. This guy had Dana rattled at the Canelo vs Crawford press conference yesterday ?

Asks him about changes to the Ali act and Dana spins it as if this guy is the “asshole”. Haha fuck off prick. It’s been so long since we’ve seen someone in media actually push this twat on something. There was a woman (can’t remember her name) earlier in the week who interviewed him and was doing similar as well and it was beautiful. He won’t go near her again. Proper made him uncomfortable, he’s so used to his carefully handpicked ‘media’ lobbing him softball questions these days it’s a joke.

Here’s that interview with the woman I was on about if anyone’s interested…

Her: Nobody’s ever made $100 million in the UFC.

Dana: Conor McGregor?

Her: But that was against Floyd…in a Boxing match. Okay. Okay.

I thought when I stopped watching the UFC that was the last of Dana White I had to see. No here he is now ruining boxing with his presence.

A small bit of satisfaction seeing him riled up by an innocuous question. I expect he will get a lot of that in future. His reaction even made the BBC Sport website.

Not even gonna bother embedding the clip because fuck him. But just when you thought Dana couldn’t be any more unlikeable, now he’s having a pop at men with mental health problems…

He actually says in the clip, “when you’re a man, you are the example for your kids”. Lovely example this arsehole has set for his kids, slapping their mum about. Seriously, who is this prick to judge or look down on anyone? Just shows how out of touch with the real world he is that he’s saying shit like this about something that’s very real and has caused so many deaths by suicide. Genuinely detest this cunt a bit more every time I see or hear him.

I struggle to imagine a realistic alternative history where the UFC, and by extension White, don't eventually win the war for the top-echelon of the sport. But dear god, I really wish they hadn't.

I recall reading in the Father Ted thread on this forum a while back that some like to attribute the show's brilliance to Arthur Matthews rather than Graham Linehan. Not so much because they believe that Linehan didn't contribute to the show's greatness, but more so because they think Glinner is a complete asshole (and he is). I'm the same with the UFC's success and White's contribution to it. I really want to believe that the UFC's success was mostly down to the Fertitta's money and Joe Silva's booking/knowledge/ideas/negotiation skills, and that White was just the public face of the company, essentially a hype man. Deep down I kinda know that doesn't do White's contribution justice, even if there is some truth to it.

Yeah, Dana's a waste of space at this point. He's checked out and anything that ever made him an engaging and passionate promoter is gone. What he says is in the above clip is predictable, I wouldn't expect anything less from him.

Dana’s Instagram story. I’m not making this up. It’s not AI. It’s still up on his IG…

Seriously. He posted THAT an hour after posting about one of his active fighters dying at 34 years old. Could he be a bigger tone deaf, stupid, detestable cunt?

From the president of a company that promoted a card with two rapists in featured fights (one of them the main event) in July, the man who’s done business with wifebeaters (no surprise why he gets on fine with them), racists, keeps giving domestic abuser Sedriques Dumas chance after chance and publicly licks Trump’s arse…

So because he personally doesn’t like Francis Ngannou, we all suffer, the Heavyweight division suffers, the UFC product suffers etc. Also, he doesn’t personally have to “do business” with him, does he? Didn’t he say when they were in court that he doesn’t have anything to do with matchmaking and all that anymore? The UFC is a big enough company now that surely Dana can do his job (whatever that actually is in 2026) and Ngannou can be on the roster and the two barely need to even cross paths. Let Hunter Campbell and Mick Maynard handle it like they seem to do everything else now. But no, Dana doesn’t like him so we can’t have that.

No, no, no, Ngannou apparently being overbearing/arrogant at the UFC Performance Centre, and triggering a legitimate clause in his contract to leave the company is far worse than all that (rolls eyes emoji)
