I didn’t know if it may impact being in SAG or such like. The whole thing sounds like a clusterfuck. The did they/didn’t they ask him to leave the Oscars? wordsfromlee Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Not being in the academy anymore also means he can’t be nominated for awards. This means that Oscar-bait movies probably won’t hire him for roles as it’ll be one less award they’d possibly be eligible for. Quote

Was 11 year old Anna Paquin in the academy when she was nominated? One of the consequences of being kicked out is no longing being allowed to be nominated for awards anymore. Quote
