Would anyone know where I could buy or download the original GTA for a MacBook? I watched a video on it recently and I quite fancy a trip back in time to the old days of helicopter views, purple roads and getting a big ‘GOURANGA!’ message after mowing down a group of orange pedestrians.

Not a video game on sale, but if you're looking to get a Steam Deck, you can get them from just £305.96 from The Game Collection Outlet, which is a verified seller. There are instructions on IGN as to how to do that. 

That's for the 64 gb version, and the larger version is more expensive (but still discounted) - however, if you have a large microSD card, this version might be all that you need.

I remember having a fair bit of fun with Maneater. It felt almost like one of those forgotten sleeper hits from a previous gen the same way people talk about something like Tokyo Jungle on PS3.

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series - £39.99 £9.99 (75%) - Xbox Series S/X
A remake of the Wii port of PS1 game Klonoa Door to Phantomile and PS2 game Klonoa 2 Lunatea's Veil in a handy little double pack. Klonoa is one of my favourite PS1 games but I never played the sequel. I got this yesterday and it holds up lovely. Runs a little faster than you might remember as it makes the jump to 60fps but it looks gorgeous and the music is still great. Has a "pixel filter" which I assume to be classic graphics but it's not, it's an actual filter that makes everything look shite, so don't bother with it.
At this price you can't go wrong at all though as even if the PS2 one isn't up to much (I'll find out soon enough) then a tenner is worth the price of admission for the first one all day long.

Katamary Damacy Reroll - £24.99 £6.24 (75%) and We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie - £24.99 £8.24 (67%) - Xbox Series S/X
You roll things up with a sticky ball as you gradually grow in size. The order goes something like coins, batteries, cutlery, cats, people, houses, football stadiums, godzilla, rainbows, clouds, planets. It's fun, goofy and addictive gameplay with plenty of replay value. Not much difference between the two games but if you like one then you'll like both and for those prices they're worth a pop. Nothing funnier than the comic scream of a pedestrian as you scoop him up in a ball full of fish and playing cards.

Both are part of a Bandai Namco sale on Xbox at the minute so there's plenty on there but those are my picks. Keep your eyes out for Tekken, Arcade classics, Dragonball, Little Nightmares, Soul Calibur and the Tales series of games among others.

Firstly, it's the former @RedRooster here, and if you're wondering where I've been, here y'are. 

On to more important things - getting a post of (what I think are) top notch recommendations before the Steam sale ends at 6pm today. While you've all been playing Elden Ring, I've been playing...

Cryptmaster (£17.84, 15% off)

OK, this is on the higher end of what you might expect from a Steam game, but it's my Game of the Year so far; and I'd hazard a guess and say you've never even heard of it. At its simplest, this game is basically hangman meshed with a dungeon crawler. I twisted version of Hangman, but hangman nonetheless. That kind of undersells it, but it's the best description I can come up with. If you don't like word games, stay away. If you do, you'll love it. The game's also hilarious, with a really good script and great voice acting. It's worth  every penny, trust me on that. 

Dread Delusion (£11.61, 25% off)

Another indie game that no one seems to know about, but I absolutely adore. It's an open world game clearly inspired by Morrowind, albeit a twisted, fucked up horror version or Morrowind. Again, the script is sharp and genuinely funny; and the plot is fun too. Exploring the world, with its PS1-inspired graphics is also a lot of fun. If you don't like that art style, you might have trouble enjoying this game; not least because you need to build your own map. It's probably an acquired taste, but I reckon a lot of you will enjoy it. It's worth picking up while it's cheaper, trying it out and, if you don't like it, claiming a refund. 

Super 56 (£4.12, 30% off)

A cracking price for what is effectively an indie Warioware. The microgames are of the kind of standard you'd expect from the game it's inspired by, and it's a good laugh in general. 

Mini Motorways (£5.75, 20% off)

I've almost certainly recommended this one before, but I'm going to do it again, because this is the first time I've done it on this account. Since I'm doing that, you can probably deduce that I like this game. A lot. It's one of those 'just one more go' games in which you build motorways to link houses and factories, and as your city grows, so does congestion. You have to keep going for as long as you can, with gridlock being what ends you in this one. It's really addictive. 

Children of the Sun (£10.23, 20% off)

I'm not even sure how to categorise this one, but the developers have tagged it as a 'puzzle shooter', so we'll go with that. Basically, you control the path of a single bullet as you try to take out members of a cult, using the environment around you to ensure your bullet hits its targets. It's really fun, and - much like Cryptmaster - it feels like a totally new idea, unlike anything I've played before. Watch a trailer, and you'll get the idea as to what this game involves. It's good fun, and massively satisfying when you pull off the impossible and take out a bunch of enemies in increasingly elaborate ways. 

EDIT: All of these work well on Steam Deck - although it's recommended that you play Cryptmaster with a keyboard, I didn't do that and still loved it.

I'm guessing CD keys got a ton of codes from god knows where again but you can get OlliOlli World game codes for the Switch for £2.99 and the Rad Edition with all the dlc for PC for £1.29 atm.

Mini Motorways and Metros are cracking little games. They don't half get challenging later on though. 

I picked up Unmetal for £4.49 in the Switch Summer Sale. It's a little homage to/parody of the original Metal Gear games. The dialogue is funny, the action is pretty good, and there's a decent bit of puzzling and stealth involved. Some of the jokes are really badly shoehorned in, but the game doesn't take itself seriously at all, so it's all in good fun.

I’ll second this. It genuinely made me laugh out loud more than one, but aside from anything else, it absolutely nails the MGS-style gameplay. If it’s still £4.49, it’s a no-brainer.

Amazon has an astoundingly good deal on the Dark Souls trilogy on both PlayStation and Xbox as part of its Black Friday sale.

Similarly, on the PlayStation store, Sony has Sekiro at £29.99, which is a decent price given how much it costs to get a physical version these days. It seems to divide opinions among From fans on the forum, but I absolutely loved it. It pisses all over Bloodborne, which I just can’t get on board with no matter how hard I try.
