They should've made changes following the India test series, but instead were arrogant to assume that vibes would be enough. Labuschagne's bowling was the sort of pie throwing you would see in a 4th XI match and Jamie Smith getting out to it was inexcusable. I'm sure McCullum and Stokes will defend him, but there is no defense, that's the worst cricket I've seem. Quote

About a week ago I fancied reading A Lot of Hard Yakka by Simon Hughes. The best book ever written about the trials and tribulations of a county cricketer. And I couldn't find my copy. Realised I probably lent it out to someone a while back and couldn't remember who. So I put that down to experience and decided to get a second hand one off Amazon. Hardback. Two pound fifty nine. Stop talking sense! We can wheel out the corpse of Mark Wood! Or Liam Dawson and Bashir are always available for a two spin attack who don't get an over.
