Yes, should be a cracker. Be interesting to see how Ball goes about working his way inside Figueroa's reach, and negates his high pressure style.

I reckon Ball will get it done though, although it will be a hard fight. If you're Figueroa you'd want to be aiming at whipping bodyshots in to slow ball down as hes shown a bit of vulnerability there previously, great fight though potentially and one that I would say is more likely to catch fire than not.

My mate’s son is making his pro-debut on the Ball undercard tonight - Sam Norris. He should walk this one but he’s a beast - can see him in the title picture within a few years. One to keep an eye on.

Fig really boxed well, I knew it would be a hard fight for Ball, but it was one I thought he'd win but I feel he let the fight get away from him a bit, and at times Fig made the fight harder for himself than it needed to be by not keeping it long! Brilliant left he got Ball with and the salty reactions from Ball's team and then Ball himself wasn't it for me...

Take your loss correctly and come back stronger.

Props to Andrew Cain as well.

Yeah I know emotions are high but didn't like the way Ball's team responded, almost turned messy with the crowd reacting to it.

Good fight though, very hard to score. I wasn't actively scoring but I think I had Figueroa up simply based on workrate. That said, that 12th round stoppage came from nowhere.

Looking at the scorecards though, Ball would have needed a stoppage to win.

3rd Zuffa Boxing show is free on youtube this evening, Heavyweight main event.

Yep, all in on Zuffa Boxing. Last nights main card was really good. The Apex sounded really loud, and they have the ring mic'd up really week so you hear every punch land.

3 fights, 3 finishes. Good stuff.

...and maybe the KO of the year.

Just a reminder that John Fury has had a grand total of one physical altercation since leaving prison over a decade ago; where he headbutted a young lad only a fraction of his side, yet somehow came worse off.

Yeah me and my friend were talking yesterday about who we'd have train Fury if not Sugar Hill, we chucked a few names back and forth but that route he wants to go down isn't a great idea but there you go🤣

The presser chat out of Fury suggested he was more interested in pushing his new Netflix series

Also talk of not needing a trainer, just someone to wash his gear. You can't always take notice of Fury but all signs at the minute point to him not taking this seriously.

We saw what happened last time he thought he would just walk a fight...
