Great night's boxing here potentially, tough fight for Noakes who ideally needs to get up close and try and bully Mason on the inside as Masons jab and general movement from the southpaw stance could prove lots of issues for Noakes and be the deciding factor. Ultimately I think Mason will win the fight, taking over in the second half of the fight

Despite weight issues at 175 I fancy Benavidez will beat Yarde

BBC Sport are doing a lot of advertising for Frazer Clarke vs Jeamie TKV (never heard of him) tonight, as it's on BBC 2 from 8pm. Their fight is around 9pm. Should be an easy win for Big Frazer.

Just searched his name. There's a video of him doing an interview about his dad, who was a pro wrestler apparently, and his grandfather - bless him, he's obviously going to think highly of his grandad, but man - based on his description, the guy was one of those fascist pieces of shit who enabled the Mobutu government of Zaire.

Fight was pretty dreadful. For an Olympic boxer, Big Frazer can do fuck all. Swinging hooks and hugs combo. TKV had the measure of him from the start.

Ref was getting way too involved trying to make himself the star. Deducted TKV a point in round 3 for low blows.

Big Fraze was dead on his feet after round 11, his team were getting nothing out of him in the corner, probably should have stopped the fight. But it went the distance.

George Groves was on commentary, absolutely dreadful. Ronald Mackintosh kept mentioning Clarke's bald head, one time he said it resembled a billiard ball. And compared him to a toddler in the final round, when the ref led him round the ring.

Absolute belter out in the States this evening...

Just a shame the whole thing has been marred by the promotion, lack of ticket sales and the fact that they are trying to flog this thing for £42 in the UK on PPV. Hopefully, the usual spots will have it available tomorrow.

Yeah looking forward to this one, and yeah its crazy, Inoues last fight went under the radar as well, and the co main on that card was brilliant as well, but yet no real promotion.

Kabayel looked good last night and the there was a few other decent fights on the card, not sure about Roman Fury though, doesn't look to hold much power, lots of arm punches.

And fair play Dalton Smith thats how you get it done, go into the lions den and rip the title away from him, great performance against a very dangerous fighter, seen a few people say Dalton plays it to safe in fights at times & can be a bit of a boring watch, although i've never felt that tbh, but there was nothing boring about that display.

And on another note Itauma needs to get a bit of a shift on imo, and should be fighting Sanchez instead of Franklin, extremely underwhelming opponent.

This hasn't aged well considering Itauma is injured and his fight has been put back until the end of March.

Yes hes injured as of a couple of days ago or so which isnt good at all but I still reckon Franklin is an underwhelming opponent irrespective of the injury.

Itauma is only young and needs someone like a Franklin before he moves on. He was only in the ring fir about 8 minutes last year, he needs to do some rounds.

He is only young but was a very decorated amateur and has bundles of natural power & ability. Then you look at someone like Wardley, yes there is a difference in age, but there is a gulf in previous experience & Wardley just wants to hit the ground running.

His team isnt doing him any favours by talking Usyk (yes that obviously wasn't going to happen) and then fighting Whyte who was so past his best it wasn't really worth talking about. They showed lots of interest in Pulev who isnt a massive puncher and also deep into the tail end of his career, who was then KOd by Gassiev who they weren't interested in and then signed with Franklin who doesnt really offer much to be honest in my opinion I can think of two or three guys who'd give Itauma better rounds.

Then that interview recently which was so bizarre it was almost like he was high as a kite, he was slurring and all sorts, I'll have to double check but I think that particular interview has been taken down.

There's also the young Tyson comparisons, ok again thats an obvious marketing ploy that cant be read into too much but the levels of activity between them at their age groups is night and day, I personally think he will come good and he is a good talent and ive enjoyed watching him so far but Im making a very fair observation imo, his inactivity is their problem, he needs to be out at least 3-4 times a year in my opinion with the level of opposition increasing in difficulty each time, and the fact he hasn't fought in months or whatever and is now injured isnt exactly a great sign either, injuries happen in any sport and gym environment but to be that inactive rather than in back to back camps and doing lots of rounds of fighting and then picking up an injury in camp for an opponent many people dont care for isnt a good look.

I quite like the Franklin fight for Itauma, he a smaller heavyweight with decent handspeed and appears very durable. He's probably one of the better options at that level to actually extend Moses some rounds.
