NeverYield Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Wood proved too much for Warrington, and Garcia was a joy to watch. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted February 22 Paid Members Posted February 22 I think they knew after about 3 rounds that Warrington didn't have it anymore and then Wood did him a favour by winning but not knocking him out. All the glove tapping and nicey-nicey was well out of character for the both of them. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted February 27 Author Paid Members Posted February 27 I mean, boxing this week has been mental, the fights last weekend underwhelmed but this weekend's main fight should be the ultimate pallet cleanser, this can't suck, surely. Some pure Mexican on Mexican violence coming up. Quote
NeverYield Posted February 27 Posted February 27 This fight will naturally raise your test levels as I like to say. Quote
NeverYield Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Solid card last night at the Copperbox, apart from the Visioli fight. George Liddard put in another good performance against Denny who gave him plenty of stick, I like Liddard though, he doesn't waste shots, won't load up until he feels that range is right, I think theres lots of good fights in him. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted April 4 Paid Members Posted April 4 Actually thinking Delboy beats Wilder tonight. Never would’ve thought a few years ago that I’d be saying that but that’s how low my confidence in Wilder has dropped at this point. The mad shite he’s been coming out with this week doesn’t help but I just think he’s the more shot of the two. Quote
NeverYield Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Still can't get over that interview. What a yarn to come out with under absolutely zero pressure to do so, and he just kept going... Yeah I think Chisora is awkward enough, game enough, and strong enough to KO Wilder tonight. And that's my pick. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted April 4 Paid Members Posted April 4 Fuck knows to be honest. If the Bronze Bomber turns up then Del Boy could get starched pretty quickly. If Ayahuasca Deontay turns up then he will get bullied and dispatched. Pat Brown looked OK again on the DAZN card last night. He needs to stop stepping back with his chin in the air after he throws though. I thought William Crolla was very lucky. He should have been stopped after he was down for the third time in a round, but the ref knew who was supposed to win. He could have been stopped after his fourth knockdown but again the ref knew who was supposed to win. I just hope Byrne is OK, it was a bad knockout at the end. For those who think Crolla shouldn't have been stopped because he won, hete is why you ate wrong. After the fight he said to his corner "I was lucky there, I didn't think he had the power to knock me down once, and definitely not twice" he had to be told he was down four times, because he only remembered two Quote
jimufctna24 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Had they met in their primes, I suspect Chisora would have given Wilder fits initially, but Wilder would have eventually found a home for his right hand and stopped Chisora. In 2026, I have no idea who will win. Quote

Yeah, the Crolla fight has been all over social media today. Lots of people debating if it should have been stopped, it probably should have been after the 3rd knockdown in round 4. The ref. clearly knew the assignment. The actual KO was chilling, one of the KO's of the year. Jordan Thompson on the end of a shocker too. I think it's safe to say that the game ain't for Jordan Thompson, the guy has all the attributes, he just seems to lack the ability to take any kind of solid shot. Scary KO again. Quote

NeverYield Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Yes some decent boxing last night, and wild scenes. I agree Wilder may well KO Del Boy but I still think Chisoras got it. That being said these heavyweight fights between aging battlers who are on their way out can often times be brilliant scraps. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 4 Author Paid Members Posted April 4 I think it'll be a sloppy mess of a fight, but I do see Wilder landing the big shot at some point. Quote
