Paid Members Chris B Posted May 10 Paid Members Posted May 10 It's really interesting watching the competitor series, Adventures of... - they only did three, but they quickly became unpleasant and misogynistic. The first had a fairly likeable lead, but the second two were totally out of luck. It really shows what a genuinely good job Robin Askwith did with the Confessions series. I saw a film he did before that, The Flesh and Blood Show, and he's immediately got star quality. And to front the Confessions films, he had to be charismatic, likeable and funny - and while he's annoying at times, he really is. Those films made serious money and I think he could have been more of a star. Quote
