Sorry folks, I'm probably gonna have to duck out on this.

Teaching schedule and such means I've not even payed any attention to football (didn't even realise there was Champions League on TV last night) and I'd rather not just go down the route of guessing every week with no context.

Sad to see you go, but I understand your priorities and how busy you must be.

Thanks for dropping by to explain instead of just disappearing for two more weeks. It's appreciated. We're very non-judgemental about such things here these days anyway. Best of luck with teacher training.

The results went into the initial post this morning (in between two dull matches at Hell in a Cell) thanks to the very late finish to the D2D fixture. The table update has since been worked out. Anyway, Stinky Dad got his bet correct and is the new leader. Five of the other nine participants wrongly disagreed with him. Without those bonus points, he'd still have been joint top scorer alongside TildeGuy, who also leapfrogs MVP RULZ into second spot. Only that duo managed any exact scores at all this time out. In a low-scoring round, there was no other movement in terms of places, but the gap between Rory and Grecian at the other end of the standings is now down to just two points.

Away wins for AC Milan, Juve and Chelsea were the least useless outcomes. Victories for Burnley, Villa, Palace, Newcastle and Saint-Étienne could be described as a mixed bag at best, with the stalemate at Vicarage Road proving good for nothing more than a few one-pointers.

Right, this is being done a day early because England are playing in Prague on Friday bloody night. To those of you who've been making a habit of posting on Saturday or very late on Friday: I can't force you to make your picks any earlier, but we've got two more international rounds to come after this one, plus Good Friday. You're going to end up costing yourselves points sooner or later.

Then again, Stinky's played one week fewer than everyone else and he's top of the table, so what do I know?! The other 9 games on the card will also be up in the first post very soon...
