Wild to look back and see how few of the supposed, “future of WWE,” ever actually amounted to anything in that company. Some might possibly suggest that their Developmental System is somewhat flawed. A clean shaven Swerve Strickland standing there feels like the biggest dropped bollock of all. What a fumble letting him go. No wonder they tried to tamper with his contract and bring him back once he proved himself in AEW. It’s not all bad, though.
