This write-up is a bit on the late side though. I know, I'm slacking. I should probably have abandoned the plans to include the Boxing Day matches as soon as I knew I was working Christmas Eve and today for the first time (with the usual humouring of the extended family on both intervening days). Best performers this time out were Glenryck and ultimo, with the former moving into second spot and trimming Briefcase's lead at the top to just 5 points. At the other end, Rory is now only in last place by a single point. The average score was 11.93 points, which sounds high until you remember that it's the equivalent of just under 6 points in a normal 10-game round. Since it's a double round, I'm not going to go through all the outcomes individually, but suffice to say that a clear pattern emerged with the scoreline at Vicarage Road yesterday being by far the most useful, whilst the big home wins at Blundell Park and the similarly named Brunton Park proving generally good for one-pointers.
