King Mal the Glorious
I stopped watching from 2004-2006 so wasn't even aware of that, I take it it didn't last long?
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted October 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted October 17, 2015 Until March 2006 according to a quick net search, so a good few months. I really don't remember it being dragged out as long as that, felt like they dropped it much sooner.
Vamp
That was during that strange period when they were openly admitting to hurling shit at the wall wasn't it?
Paid Members herbie747 Posted October 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted October 17, 2015 I loved DJ Gabriel at the time... Was he in 1PW years ago as a manager?
The Dart
Gabriel Grey is who you might be thinking of. DJ Gabriel was formerly Steve Sonic in All Star Wrestling.
Paid Members Tommy! Posted October 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted October 17, 2015 The highlight of the junior division was Teddy Long walking into a cupboard to avoid Super Porky and Palmor Cannon and walking into a Boogeyman promo.
sj5522
05/06 Smackdown was just fucked up. That's when the Tim White topping himself sketches all were right?

Direct Impact
Not all the Tim White stuff was, it ended up on TV at some point, I'm sure it started at Armageddon ppv
Liam O'Rourke
Apparently it was October 2005 that the WWE introduced their Juniors Division, so a full ten years ago. What a bizarre time that was for the company. The Juniors Division had pre-school graphics and all the midgets were presented as being toddlers basically. It was truly horrendous stuff. Nobody will ever forget Super Porky though. That two months after Eddie died was a really fucking strange time for Smackdown. The juniors division, Pirate Burchill, and that horrific episode where Randy Orton looked at Cowboy Bob and he was covered in blood, but it was just his imagination, but we were seeing it. Just thinking about it now is agony.
Vamp
It was great! It was proper silly stuff, proper wrestling that.
Dirty Eddie
Most of these nobodies came in under Johnny Ace's watch. Did he have any massive stars come in under his personal watch that weren't already on someone in the office's radar (I'm talking about guys like Bryan and Punk)? Jim Ross brought in Austin, Foley, Ron Simmons, Rock and all that lot, Batista went through the Samoans and then was a Cornette project in OVW, Cena got signed from UPW by Ross. Did Big Johnny bring in anyone good?

It was all online after that. That was about a year before this period of Smackdown craziness I think.
